Delicious
They were just like I remembered during my visit to Pakistan in 2021.

Tastes horrible 0/5
There are three flavors that come out in stages with these chips, and not one of them are good. The first thing you smell and taste is the Black Sea salt. It is sulfuric and while in small doses it can replicate an egg taste, it is way too much in this and it is like eating a fart. Second is the actual flavor that is so diminished by the other two you can barely tell it is Indian bases. Then comes the chili pepper heat. It has nothing to offset it but the fart you first tasted. So basically…you are eating a spicy sulfur chip.

Make sure you read the details for this product
The taste was good. It has a mild building heat and an interesting flavor. I do wish I'd done my due diligence and paid more attention to the product details. For the price, I thought the bags were going to be full size, not snack size. Oh well, I can't say I regret the purchase but I definitely won't be getting it again. I do recommend this product for anyone who likes new snack flavors. Honestly, I just looked up the price for this snack at this size and it's $5.98 at Walmart for one. I think I probably got more of a deal than I first thought so I'll bump my rating up another star. When did chips get so expensive?

10/10 would eat
I had to chill out on my 'weird' chip fascination because I'm obese and have high BP. I love Indian Food and these chips were one of my favorites. Have a lil tiny bit of heat to them but nothing overwhelming

Just ok
The texture was crispy and light just like Lay's potato chips always are, but the seasoning wasn't for me. There's definitely cinnamon in it and I just wasn't fond of it. It was a good experiment though. I sent one to my nephew to try as well and he thought they were just so so.

Generic spice without notable flavor.
2 stars because they were at least crunchy. But otherwise the spice is depressingly generic, and they're pretty flavorless otherwise. Useless without some kind of dip. Avoid.

So good, a great special treat!
Yeah, it's pricey, but a great special treat! Wish they sold it normally in the US.

Why doesn't Lays sell these in the USA? Best chips.
Or, I could learn to make the spice blend myself and save money eating them as often as Michael Pollard thinks people should eat potato chips. I am lazy and don't get to the local Asian grocery as often as I want. It's amazing they are ridged Lays chips. It's amazing they contain dried mango powder (ancho? anjo?) they are about as spicy as I ever want from capsiacin and not gochujang or wasabi which are the only other spiciness I like. I would have to go to the Asian grocery to get the mango powder anyway. Lays should include the United States in their distribution plan so I don't have to import. We don't make our own barbecue or salt and vinegar chips on average and I want these in school fieldtrip bags on those field trips I don't go on because I'm not in school anymore.
