Clear view and installation no problem. Well made.

Chose this because of positive reviews and alternative options had comments about water getting in or paint flecks from the screw sleeve getting in the lens. This item is shown with no paint coating on the screw sleeve but lo and behold the item supplied has the painted sleeve and, of course, paint flecks all over the inside of the lens.Returning as unusable, a shame because it is otherwise well made, has a good lens and wide field of vision.Maybe I was sent the wrong item or just unlucky, but based on the one I was sent I'd avoid as the item being dispatched no longer matches the illustrated item.

Fits well

It's nice and solid.But, now fitted it's a bit blurry but fine for identifying whether I know the person at the door.Also, was the eye cover was broken on arrival. Wasn't important enough to warrant returning but still, poor effort there. Can only assume the seller didn't check the goods before dispatching.I've knocked the stars down for the blurriness and the brokenness. Otherwise fairly nice.

Nice finish and built quality. Excellent value for money. Please take note that most front doors have a 12mm slot where this particular model requires a 14mm. Make sure you have a 14 drill bit to hand!
