Q: How difficult to remove plastic top/bottom and valves for a Still?

This is not the type of keg that you would want to turn into a still. The bottom is domed and would not sit flat, the top does not have a universal opening for easy cleaning. you may want to stick with a T500 to get started.

Q: I brew beer at home - put in bottles - have kegerator - would like to put brew in keg - how do you get it into ball lock keg? Is there a coupler?

The ball lock keg has a removable lid. You would siphon the beer into there just like you would into a carboy or into a bottle. Depending on how you want to setup/keg you will need CO2 and a beer dispensing unit. We offer everything you need. If you have any more questions feel free to message us directly.

Q: What are the dimentions?

Most of these are 25" Tall by 8.25" in diameter. But there can be some slight variations between kegs from different manufacturers.

I have not seen these in quite some time. They are fairly heavy when full so I think most homebrewers got away from them. They are also very expensive versus the five-gallon models. Last I checked they were about $400 each. I think Adventures in homebrewing had them a while back- you could check there.
