DuralexMade in France Picardie Marine Glass Tumbler Drinking Glasses, 10.88 ounce - Set of 6, Marine Blue

I wanted to upgrade my glasses for my new kitchen. These glasses are tough and great looking.

Had some older Duralex glasses from living in France, was great to get these online and we love the shade of blue. Just what we were looking for, highly recommend.

I love these glasses because they're a classic French Cafe design, they nest, they are tempered and can go from ice water to boiled water without even a worry of shattering, are reasonably priced and come in several convenient sizes including a small set which nest in the top of their own water/wine/whatever carafe. The Duralex company is a very old company which perfected the process of glass tempering in France after WWII: if you have a Duralex set from the 1950's they're likely still in one piece to this day, although probably scratched a bit, because these are some of the toughest glasses I've ever used so I finally broke down and put together a set as a gift to our house. I recommend them to any person who likes old school, solid, "approved -by-Martha Stewart-type" kitchen stuff that just works well. It's a good thing. ;-) The Marine color is sharper and bluer than the picture above: the picture does the color no justice. My only complaint is I wish the larger sizes were more widely available in the Marine and Amber colors. my kitchen set are the clear ones (which go with everything) though so it's not a problem, these are the bar set.

I love these glasses! My husband took me to Paris back in March, and these glasses were everywhere. I wanted a set for my home. They look wonderful at my table, they are delicate yet sturdy. Dishwasher safe too!

These glasses are so pretty. A nice bright blue. Smaller than regular glasses. More like a juice or even an awesome cocktail glass. Love them. This company makes all lead free products. You would be surprised how many companies have been using lead still to this day.

An excellent product that's hard to find, but they're absolutely worth it. They'll last a lifetime without sacrificing taste. There is no mouth full of glass to the sip. Highly recommend

I'm really enjoying these glasses. So far, they are tough, although I do not intend to put them to a test on purpose. I like that they are stackable. They are not as dark a colbalt blue as some pictures depict. The color is a little dull, and the glasses are quite clear, but I don't mind. I like that I can see what's in them, and not guess. I was looking for something my little boy could grip easily, and these work well. I saw one or two comments from people saying that they were too slick. I haven't had that experience.

These are great water/orange juice glasses for the dinner table. They wash and fit well in the dishwasher. However, despite measuring my existing ones these are slightly smaller, might have been my error though.
