Reasonably quiet, with nice integrated controls at a price far less than OEM
I used this for a pedestal style stove which is not the intended purpose so I had to create a plate that attaches the blower to the back of the stove. So far it has worked really well at a speed of 5 its very quiet running up to a max speed of 10 its about as loud as a standard bathroom fan. Easy to talk over but noticeable in a quiet space. The automatic settings have been a bit of a disappointment because they not only turn on the unit but ramp up the speed as well, so far I've found the timer setting the best allowing me to control speed ( I like to run about 4 or 5 nice and quiet, once the room is warm I don't need much to keep it there).

Much better value and quality than traditional blowers
This fan is smaller than our last one by 2”. It is not a 10” fan. That’s measuring from the end of the motor housing to the end of the fan. This is an 8” fan in comparison to the traditional type. HOWEVER, it does seem to move the same amount of air a bit quieter. It plugs into a 110 outlet (for US at least). The control box is very easy to use and intuitive enough once you read the simple instructions. We thew ours underneath the natural gas fireplace and it doesn’t over heat. There was no way I was putting a hole in the wall for it to mount since it doesn’t exactly go with the decor, it has worked well so far. I bumped the temp to 100°F for auto start since 90°F would have it kick on during warmer days. That seems to have stopped the accidentally starts when the fireplace was off.Build quality is so much better than the $250 traditional fireplace blower we had before (that seized up after only 2 years of part time use). Note that the temp sensor is a bit different as it’s a stick style and not flat sensor so keep that in mind when tying to place it. It also features a true variable speed motor so it smoothly ramps up and down the temperature. This makes it less noticeable on startup.Overall, we’re happy with it and will definitely buy one again after these bearings go. We’ll see how long that takes!

Nice, sleek, efficient, quiet fan, but…
I installed this in my fireplace to replace an old noisy, squealing fan that finally just quit working altogether.I’m happy with this fan EXCEPT, I cannot seem to get the temp probe placement and setting right. The fan just surges on and off up to 10 times after the fire turns off and the firebox is cool. It also does it when the fire turns on as well, it will turn on, cool itself enough to turn off with the inflow of air, and turn it back on again. It’s driving me crazy. I have tried numerous combinations of probe placement and settings on the controller, but I simply cannot get it to work like the old style thermoswitch. It would be nice if they offered a thermoswitch alternative to this overly sensitive probe. It might even help to put the probe in the firebox itself so it isn’t subjected to airflow. Definitely scratching my head on this one

It's OK. Kinda loud.
Installed 2 and works well but has a high pitched whine that eats away at your soul after a while of trying to enjoy a peaceful fire.

Fireplace is now functional instead of just ornamental
Our home came with a fireplace that, for the most part, was pretty much just for looks. The fireplace provided heat, but didn't radiate very well into the open living room/dining room/kitchen. The central heating/cooling in our home will heat the upstairs portion of our home, while the downstairs is always much colder. I decided to try and make better use of our fireplace, and after browsing for options, finally settled on the Airblaze T10. Tried it out and it works unbelievably well. Finally the first floor of the house is comfortably warm! I have the unit set to its maximum fan speed (10). While the fan noise is noticeable, it is not disruptive.Installation was easy, with the exception that I was working with a tight space underneath the fireplace. I had to remove the screen and protective glass in order for the blower unit to fit. I installed the temperature feedback sensor on the top side of the fireplace, and mounted the main unit to the lower left of the fireplace. Wires are tied together and routed for clean cable management. Overall the install was not very difficult, and the results have been fantastic.

Low cost
I replaced a similar blower with this one and and the electric cost savings is spectacular,I went from 8 amps to less than 1 amp. With the variable speed and power it has its great. Also the unit came extremely well packaged, I was impressed.

Simple and Effective
Almost gave up trying to find the "right" fan for my Model fireplace; plus the install (wiring, remove parts) - it was too intimidating (and expensive). So I tried this, game changer.I got the 10", slid it around to the back of the box and was up and running in minutes. It doesn't matter what model fireplace you have - look at the dimensions of the fan and check to see if it fits underneath. The air is cool enough underneath so the wires are ok. I do have the fan wire snaking in front (I'll have to hide it), but the rest of the wires for the controller I tucked at the side of the mantel. You don't have to disconnect/ remove anything from the fireplace. You are simply adding a fan...It pushes heat out a few feet from the fireplace (instead of directly in front of it). I should have bought this years ago.
