Well designed. Bright, compact, efficient, lightweight with a daylight color temp and good quality
I've now purchased several different models of light from this maker. They all have a good and non-harsh daylight-type light output, very strong light output, lightweight mostly corrosionproof housings and compact form factor. These have excellent lumens-to-wattage performance, flicker-free stable lighting and more a decent level of weatherproofness, though I have yet to test their weather resistance long-term.for output comparison, the dual-LED version from this maker offers more than enough light from around 10W for lighting a typical room to levels where you can read, walk around, and see things very well. the 10W unit is more than enough to light the front of a garage, porch, back door, shed or barn doors. the 8-LED version they offer with 50W is bright enough to light even a larger room very intensely and is bright enough to see things very well even while wearing sunglasses. The 50Watt is brighter than many halogen car lowbeam headlights. the 50W unit would be suitable for lighting things like a longer driveway, suburban backyard, or swimming pool area if you need or want more reach.this 30W quad-LED version is extremely compact and lightweight yet produces an amount of light which is ideal for a wide range of uses and conditions. it's the just-right option in the bunch. it will provide light reach out to a good distance around a typical home or in a typical room, without wasting too much electricity or annoying people in other parts of town, or being too bright for your comfort when you're returning home. I'd suggest starting with their 10W light first if you want a light for the porch or driveway and don't need extreme brightness. Even the 10W Sansi produces a lot of light. the 10W dual-led is actually slightly larger than Sansi's quad-LED, the 10Watter has nice thumb-tighten knobs on either end which will be welcome if you want to quickly and easily re-adjust and re-fix the light's aim with gloves on in wintertime, without any tool. If you want the light's position to be more fixed or just a more compact installation size, I would recommend this 30W quad-LED unit which trades the thumb-knobs for small stainless allen key screws and trades width for compactness. If you need more light than this 30W can provide, try the 50Watt, just be aware it is very bright when you're returning home and will use more electricity which may not really be necessary or ideal for you and for any neighbors, wildlife, and drivers and pilots in your area.each of these lights has a good sturdy rotatable mounting bracket which can double as a handle and light kickstand. this 30W is more narrow, the 10W and 50W are wider, if you are planning on using these as portable worklights perhaps on uneven surfaces and not mounted with screws. These Sansi LED units are lightweight enough that you could properly zip-tie, bungie cord or duct tape the mounting bracket/kickstand to something solid and get a good result. You should also be able to suspend them from an appropriately sized S-hook or length of chain, perhaps one length of chain, with two s hooks would work best. For a permanent installation, with these mounting brackets and included hardware, you are able to aim the lights by tilting up and down and rotating clockwise or counterclockwise, to direct the light in the ideal direction. they produce a good floodlight pattern light coverage overall. The power cords are long enough to be useful if there's an outlet within several feet of where you want to position the light, and short enough that you can still store these away compactly for portability. An extension cord is useful if you need more cord length than is provided. These have standard 2-prong plugs, non-grounded type. The plug and cord seem to be of high quality. the power cords have integral toggle power switches with a rubbery outer jacket over the power switch proper. Take care not to damage the power cord, power switch and outer jacket, though they are well made they're not indestructible. Switches have positive on-off settings, operate easily with thumb and forefinger even with winter gloves or workgloves on. You can leave the switch in the ON setting for use with a timer, smart outlet, etc. It is a mechanical power switch. There is no delay in lighting on plugging in or switching on.stainless steel mounting hardware was provided which is of good quality, and quite sturdy looking. this is important if you are mounting these lights outdoors or permanently.Even the small shipping box is good quality, and includes a custom-fit foam inner, making it great for shipping and storing these lights if you're not mounting and using them somewhere right away. Printed documentation is more than adequate. These lights can run quite warm to the touch but are MUCH safer and MUCH cooler and MUCH brighter than comparable wattage halogen and produce better light quality than the older, bluish, harsh and dim LEDs. This 30W quad-LED shines a significantly whiter brighter light than a good 150W halogen worklight I still have from bygone days which looks really dim and yellowish in comparison. These should serve well for your home or buildings, at the price and with the features such as weatherproofing and integral power switch, cord and plug, you'll have them installed in a very short time, can experiment with position and angle of aim, brightness of the various units, and number of lights needed to obtain your desired level of lighting. I also think these will make good gifts as they can be extremely useful as portable plug-in lights, which for example could be used with a portable power inverter for your vehicle, or a portable rechargeable power pack / solar generator with AC outlet. For low wattage lighting you can run entirely on solar, go with the 10W units or the lowest wattage LED which you consider sufficiently bright and you'll get longer battery power times, save power for your other devices, and be less pressed for recharging time. One 10W Sansi outdoor light is bright enough for a family campsite with 1 - 4 tents, or tailgating, two 10W units will double your light if needed, and this 30W is significantly brighter than two 10Watters.

very bright
This light is impressive. I plugged it in and turned it on at night in my kitchen and it lit the space up brighter than it's ever been let up. I highly recommend this for any area that really needs to be lit up I'm not sure how far it will go out in the to the backyard but it is so bright that I had to squint when I even glanced at it. you would think it would get hot as bright as it is but it stayed cool to the touch I only left it on for maybe 3 minutes but by that time another light that I have that's very bright would get warm at the very least but this one didn't

Great customer service from Sansi!
I bought this product as a temporary solution to our porch light having failed, and I needed to fix the wiring before installing a new one. I set this light up with a smart outlet controlling it, dusk to dawn.It worked great at first, but failed after just a few days - not a total failure, but half of the LEDs were out.I emailed Sansi Customer Service, as instructed in the manual. Their service was GREAT! They got back to me the same day, requesting a photo of the problem, and a copy of the receipt. I emailed them both, and shipped a replacement out the next day.So far, the replacement unit is working fine. Good job Sansi!
