It works!
Having problems keeping a starter I’m old Dodge truck, ones a pick up. It’s a local parts store will work for a few months and then start drag. This one works great. Put it on and it started right up. Perfect fit good price and it’s easy to install so if you’re looking for a good starter, I will start with this brand.

Old Dodge has never started faster...
I replaced the old laughing dolphin starter with this. The replacement was almost drop-in. I had to enlarge the solenoid power wire hole to fit over this starter's stud by a small amount using a drill bit. This has a faster cranking RPM than the old starter and it definitely seems to draw the battery down far less, which is noticeable and appreciated on cold mornings when you have to crank for a while because you still haven't fixed the automatic choke after four years...

small but weird shape
the starter is small and turns over amazing, however, the terminals come off of it in a super dumb location that hits the headers. isnt the point to clear the headers better? i couldnt even bolt them on and actually beat the hell out of them to get them bolted up still touching the starter. this isnt like a fluke issue either its well documented that these starters interfere with headers on a big block challenger unless you specificaly buy "Doug's" headers for $700. also it leaves the terminals pretty close to the block. im going to cut the beat parts out and tig new tube around the starter but its such a tight fit i have to pull the engine to pull the headers

I should have bought this starter first!
I have a supercharged 440 small block (Mopar R3 race block bored and stroked) that has challenged previous starters. My last starter all of 1-year old with less than 500-miles snapped in two places where the casting inserts in the trans housing. I have never seen a failure in this area. The cast aluminum housing snapped and failed. My last mini-starter was $70 and made by a company that goes by two letters. The lesson is: Pay for the better product like Powermaster because it's cheaper in the long-run and cheaper than a failure! Plus, I called Powermaster after hours about this application, left a voicemail and they called back early the next morning with an intelligent answer. I was impressed. This application seems to be rough on starters so I will update later.
