Hurray!!! Finally My wooden storage case arrived ❤️.. (On time I tell ya!!) with secure packaging too.When I first saw the box on Amazon, it looked like this huge bulky storage item and I was sceptical of buying it because I had to again look for a place to put it.. But Suprise surprise..It's super compact and not really heavy.. I've posted a couple pics on how the box looks.. I also arranged my pencils in it - As you can see, the box has about 250 color pencils stored..(each draw stacks two layers of pencils here) maybe with room for more ..The Quality is pretty good too and I love the handles - easy to use .. The top of the box is even good to use as a board for sketching (smaller dimension sketchbooks) and I'm going to paint & personalise it as well 🤓🤓I've read some of the bad reviews and have seen some of the (not so good ones' )photos posted about this.. And I don't know what product they got.. But this one is awesome! Don't hesitate to buy.. It's a good investment & let's face it, apart from being super useful and organised.. It Looks FANTASTIC 💙

I love these drawers for organizing art pencils. The only issue I have with them is, as other reviewers mentioned, the drawers pull each other out so they all come out when youre just trying to open one. I found the remedy to this was to make a jig out of popsicle sticks to shim up around the drawer pull to give a flat surface before running it through a table saw to shave off that little bit of excess on the top of the drawer faces. It worked great and I found that most sets I purchased only needed this done on the very bottom drawer. I have 8 sets of these and they all work great now. I also still have all of my fingers.I like they way these look in my workspace and they make everything really easy to find. The dividers were easy to pull out for a customized drawer - once out theyre also very easy to put back in if you change your mind. The Last two photos show the drawers shimmed up with popsicle sticks ready to be run through the saw and the first four photos show the drawers fitting all kinds of various things. With the dividers removed, i find I can even put the whole derwent pencil tin in there - yet the drawers are shallow enough that theres no wasted space. Im very happy with these guys!

Update 9/14/2016: I have just received my second drawer unit and I did have some drawer issues but I was able to resolve by swapping some around with my first unit I ordered and it fixed the problem. I have also uploaded some additional pictures and a video with the two drawers as I have them in use. On both units I did not get the foam padding inserts, but I have developed another solution. Overall I am still very pleased with this unit and it has really helped organize my drawing materials.Original Post:I am glad I discovered this storage unit! I have collected hundreds of colored pencils, markers, gel pens, etc.! I was tired of searching for a color in a large bulky drawer (which is why I have so many pencils now) and it was taking the joy of coloring away. As soon as it arrived I started putting it right to use! Now all my specialty and regular colors are available and very easy to get, use and replace! It fits perfectly on my desk and doesn't take up very much space. Furthermore, the drawers remove fully so I can have the drawer with its contents set up near my work space! I am going to order one more drawer for my markers and even though I have not put it right to use, I can tell that while sorting everything into the drawers it will be very easy to remove/replace the utensils with little effort, not to mention find the color right away without digging! Every once in a while it is very nice to find something that makes a hobby very enjoyable and easier to relax. I think it is safe to say this unit fits the need very well!While I was shopping between the single, triple and quad drawer selections many reviews were about the build quality not being the best. The unit I received is in great shape, all the drawers close securely and sits flat on the surface of my desk. The dividers are not removable, mine are glued in place, but that isn't a big concern to me and actually made some of the orientation easy to keep certain categories from rolling into others, per say.The wood is not stained, from what I can tell, and perhaps one day I will paint or add custom drawings to it.Overall, I am very pleased with this unit and I do know I will be ordering more in the future! I may even give some away as a gift to friends as well!

Only downfall is that there are no cushion at the bottom of the drawers like the others that I have.Otherwise, drawers are made well and work well.

OK, it is as pictured, but the drawers do not slide in or out well - due to bowed shelf supports. They seem to have cut the supports a quarter inch too wide, then forced them into the slots, rather than pare them down a bit. thus forcing all drawers up, where they push into each other so you have to force then in and out. Too bad, because with a very simple adjustment at the factory, this could be solved instantly. Just cut the supports a tiny bit shorter. As is, I was hoping to buy multiple units to stack, but now I can't, and certainly not at this price point.I'm pretty handy with wood, and would happily remove the supports and shave them down a bit, but they're glued in there, and I can't see how to get them out without ruining them, and probably the outside case, as well. It's all pretty thin wood/plywood, so it's gonna crack pretty easily.I already tried to force mine into position, by inserting hard-foam spacers between the supports, but even after days of being forced into position, they sprung back to bowed, as soon as I removed the spacers.Too bad, as it could have been nice, if the drawers would slide in and out properly. (I noticed several others complaining of the same issue, so this is not a fluke with just mine.)
