Evercool EC8015HH12BP 80mm x 15mm Hi-Speed Dual Ball Bearing PWM 4 Pin Fan

I used a noise-control resistor to slow it down-It is really quiet at the current speed. My PC is not a game or heavy-use machine so this fan which blows across the CPU cooler doesn't have to be full tilt.

I returned the first unit I received because it was noisy at all speeds. The replacement is a little quieter but is still noisier than all the other fans in my office, even when running at an idle speed of 600 RPM. On full beans it is intolerable.

Item was what was expected and is working well.

This fan did what I needed, fit into my cpu cooler, etc. but was not quite as quiet as I had hoped. Delivery could have been quicker.

It's a good fan, reasonably quiet and keeps a reasonable temperature. It absolutely doesn't get any where near 6000 rpm though. Y'all need to correct your listing.Mine might get to like 3600 at 100%. Don't quote me on that. But definitely not "2000-6000 rpm." Would be nice to have the extra thermal headroom. It's so hard to find an 80x15mm pwm fan, let alone a high rpm fan that fits all those requirements. Anyone got a hot tip?

I bought these fans to replace the Intel NUC 9 NUC9i7QNX Extreme Kit's case fans. They fit correctly and have the right specs; however, they were turned on all the time and were very noisy. This was not the expected behavior because the OEM fans turn on/off depending on the temperature of the CPU. Be careful when buying these for the same use case.
