The last set lasted over 20 years
These are just as nice as the set they replaced. I had to take a grinder to the striker plate to get these to fit but I blame this on the installer of the original set for not installing those correctly to begin with. Be care taking out the bottom screw that you don't lose the washer as that is what limits the travel of these when you turn the key.

Highly recommend
Worked fabulous on a hard snug top tonnau cover for a 1998 dodge ram pickup. I didn't think the threads were weak and I used the bolts that came with the lock. The locking piece lined up perfect with the original bracket snugtop installed 20 years ago. The original locks failed because the phillips screw part simply fell off. Will have to check and make sure this part stays tight in the future. If I get another 20 years out of these locks, they are well worth the $50. And its worth not emptying the bed out every night of my tools worth more than $50. No, they are not the absolute strongest locks but enough to be annoying to a thief and make him move on to the the next truck.

Expensive but working like a charm.
Well these are pretty expensive, but I lost the key to my truck bed cover, and figured the same name brand replacement was the way to go. Honestly, you could probably get the $5 locks they sell her on Amazon and get the same results. In any case, it took less than 10 minutes to swap them out and secure the truck again, so I paid the extra to be sure. If you are feeling adventurous, get the cheaper ones, I am pretty sure that they will do the job. But to be sure get the name brand and be done with it

No flat washers included
The threaded 11/16 shaft of the lock fit the hole in my 2002 Tundra Snug tonneau cover perfectly. That is the good part. But, the locks do not come with any washers that go between the nut and the underside of the tonneau cover. 3/4" stainless steel washers and neoprene washers cost $1.69 each here in the NW corner of Washington. For the price I had to pay, they should have been included.

Great replacement locks
It only took about five minutes to replace the old broken locks with the proper tools. The Snugtop lid on my truck is now secure again. Just like new.

The locks fit perfectly and they worked right.
They went on perfectly.

They work just fine, the only problem was the nuts are too ...
Arrived on time and we'll packaged. They work just fine, the only problem was the nuts are too soft and easily stripped. I just used the originals and they locked in nicely.
