The Pinstripe Ghost (Ballpark Mysteries)

My grandkids learned to read when they were 5 years old because of phonix (sight-reading is a sham). They LOVE reading!Miraculous Ladybug is a tv show but there are books that go with the tv show.

The Ballpark Mysteries series is the perfect series for a young boy who is obsessed with baseball. He was so excited to read these books and finished them in no time! I didn't read this myself, but according to him it was a very good book. It has since been passed down to his younger brother, who isn't so much into baseball but enjoys mystery. So it's a perfect book for the both of them! Covers all the bases (get it?!)

I have read this series with a group of third grade students and the students really liked it. I was pleased to read an author that has written many more books with this theme because I try very hard to get my struggling readers to want to read more titles from an author. Both the girls and boys liked this series and have decided to take them out from my room for their silent reading books!

Mr Kelly can't write fast enough for my son. He was diagnosed dyslexic at 5 and after 5 more years of struggling to get him to read, he can't put these books down! The content is interesting enough for his age group yet easy enough for him to read most of it on his own without frustration. They have been just challenging enough for me to feel he is learning something new with every chapter. The fact that they are mysteries makes it the perfect series.I hope Mr. Kelly has no plans of quitting any time soon. These books are changing my son's outlook on reading. Thank you!

Students who are growing up around baseball/softball enjoy this series. Baseball history, locations, lore, are woven in to the story line.

My 6 year old grandson loves baseball and loves these books. Since buying this book, I have bought two more. I intend to buy him the whole series. Right now I read these books to him; but they will be great books for him to read to himself as he progresses as a reader.

My 7 year old is reading this series, he loves this! He plays little league and this series is really pulling him in. He is able to read these independently and is enjoying the stories.
