Good product
Other than the stapler being very loud when using, it's a great product!

Worked for less than a month
TLDR version: DO NOT BUY THIS STAPLER.This stapler is not equal to the quality of my Swingline 707 desktop manual stapler.Received stapler on January 21, and began having staple jam issues the same day.I am used Swingline S.F.4 Premium Staples, 1/4" length.Stapled tax return sets 2 pages to 15 pages with the 1/4" staples.Had jams with page sets 2 pages to 15 pages.Included with the purchase was a box of Swingline speed Pro High Capacity Staples, 3/8" length.Used them for page sets 26 pages to 40 pages, as per recommendation on the stapler and staple box.No jam issues with any of the larger staple sets. When the 1/4" staples jammed, pushing the release button at rear of the stapler was a hit or miss result.Sometimes it opened the tray, however, when jammed, most times it did not open the staple tray.Had to use normal American "persuasion" to open the tray. That means, taping the stapler against the desk to get the tray release to actually release. The plastic faceplate on the front of the stapler tray has no ability to open manually without risking breaking the plastic.Tried that several times until the faceplate did pop off.And still the stapler tray would not release and open so I could clear the jam. While Amazon is sending me a replacement Swingline, I am going to purchase a 30 page capacity Bostich electric stapler that uses regular staples.I'm not a fan of "crown" style staples since they fit only one stapler-Bostich high capacity electric stapler.

Not as durable as I would expect.
OK, I bought this stapler a little over two years ago - 27 months, to be exact. I bought it after we obtained one at work. I thought it was so good that I came home and ordered one for my wife - a kindergarten teacher who does a surprising amount of stapling. Now for the review ... The unit at work is used a lot, by several people, and has been replaced twice. It is difficult to describe the failure mode, but each time the unit just became unreliable and bent a lot of staples. Now for my wife's unit. She brought it home from school (her work) complaining that it was not working. The failure this time is that the lever - the thing that goes down and delivers the staples - is not returning to its full upright position. I have just contacted Swingline to find out if it may be covered by warranty. The unit at work was, so I am hopeful. I don't wish to be too negative here. The stapler, before failure, worked great, although it is quite loud. It is quite "authoritative" in its delivery. But I would buy another.

WORKS WELL . . . BUT NOT A QUIET STAPLER
I was surprised by the loud snap sound when I first used the stapler. I actually jumped at the sound it made. It's probably more heavy duty than necessary for stapling papers at the medical office front desk. Works very well, would recommend but be aware it's not a quiet stapler.

Newly Purchased Swingline Speed Pro 45 Electric Stapler Malfunctions Within a Month
I'm a file clerk who recently purchased this Swingline Speed Pro 45 Electric Stapler on April 5th 2024 for use at my workplace. However, I’ve encountered an issue with the stapler being jammed, and it’s been less than a month since the purchase, today is Apr 19, 2024. Despite following the instructions to press a specific button to release the stapler magazine and remove the blockage, I’ve found that the button is not functioning as expected. This has rendered the stapler unusable. I’m disappointed with this experience and had to return the product due to its malfunctioning within such a short period of usage.

Wroks great but too loud!
You would think that Swingline would take noise into consideration when making their staplers. The decibel reading is terrible. Sounds like a gun going off every time you use it!

Jams more than I’d like
I use this for work and have a large stacks of papers to staple. I purchased due to my other one (different product) finally breaking after 6 years.4 stars because it jams a lot, more often than my old one. A bit of a pain to get the stuck staples out.But it does do the job when it’s not jammed.
