I hope you can see the plastic mat or cover in my pictures. The clear mat is a hard to see on my tile floor, but it is the perfect size for my office and works amazing at protecting the floor. I was able to get the mat flattened out by myself with little effort. This plastic mat works great for protecting tile floor against office chairs and other surface damage. All for a super affordable price. I am super happy with how mine fits in my work space.Very happy with my purchase.

I just got this mat and I was expecting it to be curled for a little bit, as I would expect of any mat that comes rolled, but I am actually not physically strong enough to unroll this mat and keep it unrolled. It rolls back up the second I let go. I've set it on the floor so that the curled side is facing down and placed some heavy books on it, but it pops the books right back up (I will try weight plates next). And given that it's 40 degrees out, I can't set it out in the sun as others have suggested. Other than using a hairdryer on it for hours, I don't see how it will be possible for this mat to ever lay flat.UPDATE - 3 days laterI did end up putting the mat outside over our BBQ, which has a black cover, and the combination of that and the plastic allowed the sun to soften it a bit in the middle so I could actually lay it on the floor. I've had 5-10 lb weights on the edges and corners this whole time but the mat still curls under the edges. It is a nice thick mat though and I am able to roll my chair on it, so I will keep it. But will likely need to put it outside on a hot sunny day this summer to try to get rid of the waves and curls.

I was concerned when I received it as it is quite thin but it is so far holding up well and helping my chair glide that would not glide well on the bare floor. I am quite sure it would not work on the carpet it is so thin. On hard floors, it is good for me. It took a bit but it finally lays flat after being rolled for shipping. I would purchase it again.

I was hesitant on ordering this mat because of others reviews about an odor. So glad I ordered the mat! No odor at all! Yes, it does come rolled up in a small roll but roll it the other way. Less than an hour, the mat was completely flat. Nice thickness and the desk chair rolls smoothly.New office area is now complete! 😊

I bought this for my home office.My office has wood floors and chairs slide around.With this cushion, my chair won't slide.The mat has a strong grip on the floor.It is heavy and thick enough to support itself, does not slide with the weight of the chair, does not hinder walking.The top of the chair is designed to rub the wheels.It is very transparent and soft plastic without any smell.Quality is undoubtedly the greatest advantage of this cushion. I like it

It smells so bad and worse it came rolled up really tight and it’s been nearly 24 hours of heavy items sitting on it and it still wants to roll up. Unrolling it sucked, if I had manicured nails they’d all be broken.

While the seller does include the fact that a smell exists in this product and claims it is safe and just needs to be aired out, the smell lingers for a long time and is very unpleasant even after 5 days of trying to air it out. It fits the space nicely and gives adequate cover but I am giving it lower marks for the strong smell and concern that it could be a health issue although the seller claims it is safe.

The mat is quite thick and it takes sometimes for it to completely flattened. Otherwise, it works very well to protect our floor.

The package came in very nicely packed. But the downside for that is I had to unroll the mat the other way around to make it completely flat. I hope over time with the extra weight on it, it will become flat againThe new plastic stinks (as expected) and I hope the scent will fade overtime.The mat is durable, and about 5/64 inches in thickness. It doesn't have spikes like some other office mat (to be used on carpet) so I guess this could move around easily. The mat is spacious so you could roll your chair around easilyGreat add on for my small office at home to keep the floor clean from scratches

Very thick plastic. The thickness is a bit thicker than a quarter (see picture).It is shipped rolled, unroll it by rolling inside out for a few minutes, then you can lay it flat on the floor.If you lay it on hardwood, it will slide a tiny bit as you roll back and fore. I have to fix the position every two week or so. If you don't want to fix it, I suggest to put a layer of anti slide mat underneath to prevent it from sliding.Overall satisfied but I wish it was cheaper.

Works well, chair rolls over smoothly. Is large enough to comfortably fit my office chair on.Extremely difficult to unroll, but once it is unrolled. if you leave it flattened with weights on it, it will stay flat.

The mat itself is quite good. Good thickness, durable, etc. However the odor is quite strong and has still (after 3 weeks so far) not dissipated despite having hung it outside for several days and rinsing it with soap and water. If you are sensitive to odors, this mat is not for you!
