Original battery wore out and this was the answer. The battery came over 50% charged, so i installed it and charged it. I've followed the guidance of 3-5 complete discharge before recharging cycles as the listing states, don't really notice any longevity difference. The main thing is that it works and my phone powers up! Inexpensive and has been working great for almost a month now.

LG V20 Battery, SHENMZ 3300mAh Replacement Battery was recommended by another buyer who a great experience with the SHENMZ brand. It did not come fully charged (29%) so you will need charge it out of the package. I fully charged the batteries over night and the battery was able to Fast Charge from my charging cables at home and in my car. The charge held up over night losing about 18% the next morning without it being plugged in. I was able to use the phone pretty much all day without worrying about it losing the charge 8am - 5pm (medium use - email, game, social media, music). I will review the battery in about 3 months to see if the battery has held up. I may keep my phone longer if this battery can hold its charge.

4 YEAR UPDATE: Been using this brand for 4 years now. This latest one i got, like their other two, lasted less than one year.This one lost 25% of its capacity after 11 months and only 71 cycles!! (per Accubattery). It should be 300 cycles at least (no, see update below). Hard to believe it's that bad, but it's true. Ignore the charge percent indicator, look at the phone's watt counter chip (Accubattery) because it doesn't lie, and the phone loses power and goes black long before it should, and long before it did when the battery was new. I won't be reordering another one. 2 stars.And OF COURSE they overstate their capacity. REAL capacity after 3 full cycles of break-in is 3,880 mAh per AccuBattery. Minus the 5th star for marketing B.S..UPDATE 2: Just noticed this is a LIPO chemistry battery. Those don't normally last as many cycles as Li-ion, which explains why mine failed. It was doing well (but not as good as they claim) for the first 10 months until it seemed to develop an internal short(?) and suddenly started powering off without warning, routinely. Revised to 4 stars when judged by LIPO standards. Would be 5 stars if they didn't overstate its real capacity.

I was skeptical and have been reading reviews on various batteries for my LV G20 in which I refuse to give up even though I Have a newer phone. The battery fits perfectly and holds a charge for 6 hours or more even while having multiple Windows open, watching movies,& visiting various social media apps. It got down to 13% and kept plugging away.

Apparently I'd purchased this before and didn't realize it until I came here to leave this review and found my previous reviews. I can't believe I bought this again! A mistake I won't again make!!This thing had been in my phone for less than an hour and my phone began trying to shut down. Non-stop! The screen kept hazing over and the choices to power down, restart, or cancel kept covering the screen. I couldn't even make calls, text, watch videos, etc without it happening. I would touch cancel and attempt to touch the screen to use the phone and it would immediately happen again. This went on for a few hours, I tried everything to reset it to no avail. I finally removed this brand new battery and replaced it with one of my old batteries and my phone is working fine. Thank goodness the operating system wasn't damaged. Never, never, NEVER making this mistake againWhat's really odd is when it came up there was nothing indicating I'd ordered it previously.Do yourself a favor...Don't buy this battery!Previous review for the first battery:The battery arrived with 59% charge. I'm going to allow it to reach a full charge and fully drain a few times per instructions and go from there.I'll update with what hopefully turns out as great results.Update: The first two charges went well but the third charge took full day from 8am to 10pm. It's been sitting overnight and it's already lost 20% with no use. I'm going to let it fully empty and try recharging again. Hopefully it'll work out. As of now it's worse than the battery I'm replacing.Update #2: I contacted Amazon and they were kind enough to send me a replacement. Once again, will keep you posted.Update #3: Horrible batteries! At first I thought I'd received a defective battery. The replacement they sent is worse than the first.It's an understatement to say these batteries charge extremely slowly, so unless you have a second phone prepared to be out of pocket for an entire day waiting for it to reach 100%, or you can unplug and use your phone never getting a full charge and always having to plug it in after an hour or so of using it. The reason being is because the phone is nearly useless while charging. The recommendation about not using while charging is real! My phone behaves terribly if I try to use it while charging. It runs un-be-liev-a-bly slow. When I attempt to type it frequently skips entire words. When attempting to use the apps I have to repeatedly tap a particular app to get it to open, and when it finally opens I have to repeatedly choose what I want to do in the app once I'm in. There are times I've tried to backdoor by going to the Google store attempting to open the app from there, and even when I manage to open it there's no guarantee it'll work. I can't describe the frustration with attempting to use it while it's charging. My phone ran smoothly and never had these issues with my old battery so it's not the phone. I never realized that batteries had such an impact on cell phones. Who knew?There are a few more things I can't think of off the top of my head. I can only say I don't know how this battery received so many great reviews.They stink!

My LG V20 phone's circuitry kills 2 or 3 batteries per year, so I switched from OEM batteries to these and have never regretted it. I only wish I'd done it sooner! These match OEM specs perfectly, are cheaper, last longer, and battery capacity is higher, giving me an extra day or 2 per charge.

Battery life isn't bad. Unfortunately, it is just slightly too large and makes my back cover bulge slightly.
