For the cost of Rs.1000, quality of this Portronics Dynamo 8W speaker is good. Happy with the purchase.(All comparisons are quality vs cost)Liked:Audio output (if the audio input is of high quality - like lossless/AAC/MP3 24 bit kind of. Budget mobile phones or budget TVs generally do not have this much quality bluetooth audio output. So it is not correct to blame the speaker, if in that case) (If the speaker is kept at a small room like 120 q. ft. and at height of around 8 feet and has some space for sound bounce, it gives the perception of a big speaker and the sound in very much enjoyable. YouTube music/movies at HD audio rate from a high quality audio source is very likeable. Bass - below average but it is there for minimal need. Can't expect more in this price range)Good battery life (I play for an hour or so in 40 - 50% volume almost everyday and recharge every week. Still more than 30% battery will be there)Fast bluetooth connectivity, good receiving range.Auto power off in around 10 minutes after disconnected from audio sourceCompact size, less weight.Didn't liked:No AUX inputVolume + - and play previous/next buttons are combined to one button each. Changing volume level is by long pressing the buttons which changes volume drastically. (So I kept volume high at speaker and change volume from the audio playing source. If the audio player is away from the speaker, it is hard to change volume at will)Overall it is a good budget bluetooth speaker if you have a good bluetooth audio source. Hope Portronics would bring better speakers in the mid price range (not high - not less) which would attract a big group of music listeners.

Bought Portronics for the second time n again I m satisfied. I am a bass lover but my budget was around 1000, for which this is the bestest of best as u can hear each minute instrument. Battery life is more than 6 hrs and a 5 star for built-up/looks. Bluetooth range is just 4 meters. BASS is not as expected, but it is definitely far better than other renowned brands in this range wherein the music is more crispy that hurts ears. If u go higher then u will definitely get superior bass effect.MAKERS- Plz improve bass output.

Bought this for 1099. My main expectations were FM and a decent battery life..I have to say I am pleasantly surprised..build quality is top notch.. quality rubber finish in all sides except the speaker grill..shear quality..Sound wise very nice..base is punchier one can surely feel the punch..clear vocals also..I've been listening to podcasts I really like it..FM reception is very good no complaints there.. battery is good as well..Have to mention the Bluetooth pairing is lightning fast..Cons.. while powering up it always starts with Bluetooth mode irrespective of mode previously used..I have a Portronics Pure sound III sound bar which when powering up starts with the previous mode but in no way it's a deal breaker..The buttons are looking tactile for now but am worried about it's durability..And the worst of all the delivery took more than a week..I purchased it from seller Portronics but was very late and really disappointed..8 days for a prime delivery..I've received non prime delivery faster than this..If you are looking for a portable speaker with some thug please go for it..you won't be disappointed..price varying better 999 to 1199..Edit... After two years the battery gave up. Someone posted a video in youtube how to replace battery, I followed it and it's as good as new ..This is an excellent purchase..If this falls under your budget and criteria go for it guys..

Good speaker. Read this full review if you are planning to buy.Upto 70 percent volume speaker sounds good but at full volume some distortion comes. Not too much bass not too low, well balanced vocals and bass.Battery is good. At half volume runs for 8+ hrs. But at 20% it starts telling 'Battery low please charge' every 30 sec. It annoys enough that we can't use last 20% battery life.Mic has poor performance. Need to hold it near to mouth else it doesn't catch voice.Plus point is it has in built FM radio. Though it doesn't have separate antenna indoor performance is also good.Bluetooth and USB are options for connectivity. No aux or sd card slot. With Bluetooth only one device can be connected at a time. Doesn't connect automatically, need to select manually everytime.
