ATT Digital Answering System Black 1740

Purchased this for my husband’s work. It’s compact & just what he needed. He said it was easy to install & he was pleased with it. It was supposed to be next day delivery but came the second day after I ordered it which was no big deal.

I just set it up and it was easy to do. It's hard to find an answering machine that does not include a phone.This works great with lots of features . Volume and sound are clear. Delivery was quick. What more can you ask for. Buy it.

I am hard of hearing, so a reliable answering machine was very welcome, as I do not always hear the phone.This unit works very well. I would buy it again.

Dad still has a landline and needed a replacement answering machine. Pretty easy to set up. If you're like me and want to test the unit once you install it and if you're using your cell phone to call the phone/machine, GO A FEW ROOMS AWAY. If you don't, you'll get a loud squealing noise and you might mistake it for a problem with the answering machine. The answering machine is fine--using a cell phone too close to the unit causes interference and squealing.

I gave this one star because I couldn't give it zero. It worked fine when I got it but started malfunctioning after two months. It cuts off after about 15 seconds while people are recording a message. It does have a warrenty but you have to send it in to get a fix or replacement. Not worth it. I would have expected better from AT&T.

This answering machine was a breeze to set up. It's not pumped with features, but it records a like sound of the caller. I like that I can easily end the outgoing message to accept the call without any trouble. Highly recommended.

Love it. Easy to set. Easy to use. Absolutely great.

Bought it for my Dad. He likes it so far. Easy for him to retrieve and delete messages. It was actually very easy for me to install and set up.
