This scale is very easy to use, no resetting or calibrating, step on, very quick reading, and step off, all done in 1, 2, 3! Recommend it to everyone!

This scale is great for the price. Taylor generally makes good weighing scale products and this is no exception. It is great that it takes "normal sized" batteries instead of the little disc batteries that a lot of other scales take. Weight can sometimes fluctuate between weighings that are just a few minutes apart, but not by much. The black glass shows A LOT of footprints and gets dirty easily but that would be the case with any black scale, so just something to be aware of. In my experience, a clear glass scale is much better for hiding dirt.

This digital scale is very nice looking, sleek, low to the ground, hardly any markings or patterns which is exactly what I look for to accessorize my modern home.After putting the batteries in, I weighed myself in various locations and on various floor surfaces. This scale gave me a different read-out every time, hovering within about 5 pounds of my actual weight. I have another digital scale (A Thinner by Conair, an early model which has a thick glass platform) which I've used for many years and it's read-out is very consistent. Every time I moved the Taylor scale a few inches on the same surface, I got a new weight reading. My conclusion is that this scale is not very consistent and tends to add a few pounds compared to the readings on my older scale.Three stars for looks, two taken away for inconsistent readings.
