Nice vegetarian supplement

I had tried many different brands vitamin D. I have genetic low vitamin D. This brand is the only brand that keeps my vitamin D level up. I highly recommend this for anyone suffering from a shortage of vitamin D.

Very pleased with this brand and quality of product for keeping my Vitamin D levels at a safe and perfect level.The only time I don’t take it throughout the year, is if I’m going to be in the sun for 1 hour or more. I take 1 a day, and have for 3 years. I have labwork done annually.

Can’t beat the price with delivery so fast

We have been using these for years on advice of our allergist at the time. They are very small and easy to swallow, even for my kids. The only concern I've ever had with them is the name labeling on the front. The D-5 is 5000 IU, and the D-50 is the 50,000 IU. That's a really big difference. I wish they just said D-5000 and D-50,000 on the front to avoid confusion. But if you know what you've got, they're great.

We've been taking this brand of Vitamin D since December of 2007. Prior to this, both my husband and I were very low on Vitamin D, established by blood tests. My husband had muscle tightness and cramping in his legs and had five muscle related injuries in the four years previous to beginning Vitamin D. The last time we bought the crutches instead of renting them, since it seemed like it was likely to happen again. He has never had any other muscle related injuries after beginning therapy with Vitamin D and is now a very active 72. Before Vitamin D, I had muscle pain in my back and chest and whenever I rolled over in bed, my groans would waken my husband. That pain was completely resolved after beginning Vitamin D. We both noticed improvement in our general muscle tone and less tendency to clumsiness. We felt more coordinated. We commonly walk a 6 mile trail near our house.The first year after we began taking Vitamin D, I remarked to my husband, "I don't feel like November this year." I had always experienced a lull in my spirits during the rainy months of the year here, but felt remarkably different after beginning Vitamin D therapy.
