I know that original ink cartridges are expensive, and I fall for the "reconstituted" models, but these was not a bargain. One worked fine, so far, but the first one I used, never got over skipping about one third of the type, which makes it just about the same cost as the official ink cartridges, with less reliability.

Bought this because I couldn't stand the price for brand name HP Ink Cartridges and at first I really thought I hit the jackpot. I only occasionally need to print things, maybe one or two pages a time or two a month. so the first few weeks it worked fine, I probably printed out a half-dozen pages just fine. Then a couple weeks later I went to print and it would only print about every other line, and after trying to print a few more pages to try and fix it, it stopped printing all together. So I put in the second cartridge that came in the 2 pack. And it printed just fine so I know it wasn't my printer messing up, it was the ink. Fast forward a few months, I've used the 2nd cartridge to print maybe 20 pages and now I'm trying to print a return slip for Amazon and my 2nd cartridge has stopped working. This was supposed to print 600 pages per cartridge, and I may have gotten 40 pages from both cartridges combined. Such a rip off.

Updated: Customer service shipped 2 new cartridges free; received today and so far works fine. Will re update if new infoWorked great for a couple of weeks and now won't print. Reinstalled original HP cartridge and now works fine. Bummer

I ordered a 2 cartridge pack. Installed the 1st cartridge and it lasted for about a year, then the printer would no longer print any text. Sheet of paper would feed through in a normal printing fashion but there would be no text printed. Ink level indicator for the 1st cartridge installed still showed there was quite a bit of ink still in the cartridge. I installed the 2nd cartridge which was still new in the wrapper. Immediately the printer display gave a message that the ink cartridge needed to be replace. I put the 1st cartridge back in, no text printed. I put the 2nd cartridge back in, message to replace cartridge. Attempted this change out operation for several more attempts before giving up. Final when and bought a new HP black ink cartridge and the printer began working properly.Conclusion, these Inktopia remanufactured cartridges are pretty much worthless. I wasted a lot of time and quite a bit of money because my printer detected a noncompliance issue. These cartridges did not work in a manner that Inktopia claimed they would. In the future I will only by authentic original HP cartridges. I believe Inktopia should issue a refund on my order for half of the amount I paid on my order.

The first one worked just fine, the print quality was good, no issues. The second one in the box was a complete dud. The printer wouldn't recognize it and the wet ink all over the cartridge was probably a giveaway - it's a dud. Not thrilled with batting .500 here and I missed the return period because I didn't burn through as much ink as I normally do.

The first one was empty in days.... i brushed it off as to it being a fluke and installed the 2nd one, ALSO empty within a week, and I do NOT print a lot, less than 5 sheets a week. THESE ARE NOT XL as promised. Unfortunately, it is too late to return them. SHAME on them for selling these. WARNING!! YOU ONLY HAVE ONE MONTH TO RETURN THEM!! (so if the 2nd one is crap, you just paid twice as much for the first one.....

The thing that is upsetting is of the discrepancy of description of the product. Obviously is not a the HP brand ink so I did expect the printer to recognize that fact but didn’t expect that it was a used product how the printer said. Also it says it’s XL size so it’s supposed to be double the printing of the regular size and really fast it said it was out of ink. So I do not see the saving in this purchase comparing to name brand ink!!

Great value and just as good as HP. The XL lasts a long time, and I receive long faxes so go through a lot of ink, so this ink has been great so far. I like that these are remanufactured, from an environment perspective.
