I see a lot of negative reviews, probably because it's billed as a mermaid wig - this is very orangey-red and curly and would definitely not work for Ariel, which seems to be what people are buying it for. I took a chance on it for a Merida costume, and it worked out perfectly. A lot of people asked me if I'd gotten the wig from expensive cosplay resources.It's a nice long length, a good color, and about the quality I'd expect from a Halloween store wig. For what I paid, I was really pleased with it, and it photographs well.

The wig looked very synthetic, as expected for the price. The curls and general shape matched the description and it worked well as part of a Halloween costume.

My Wig arrived quickly, however it was matted and very messy looking, You get what you pay for with this item. The actual wig looks different from the photo but still is 100% perfect for a mermaid costume. I still plan to wear it after I attempt to comb through the matted areas, but I will make sure I have a back up plan.

This is about the worst wig I have ever received. It arrived so ratty and was huge. It says it has an adjustable wig cap but even on the smallest setting it was too big, and I have a larger head. Would not recommend.

The wig arrived and is true to the picture- the color matches and it looks the exact same. It wasn't messy or tangled before I wore it. It wouldn't stay on my head because it was too big, but I just safety pinned part of the side together and it stayed on fine. After wearing it all day it was tangled, but that is to be expected since it is so long. Great wig for the price!

This thing shed hair terribly.It looked great, except it left so much hair constantly on my costume, it detracted.

Bought this wig for a children's theater camp for a girl to play Ariel in the little mermaid. Paid about $14 for it, shipped immediately. It was perfect. the right shade of red, not too fake looking. very full, long. Have a lot of requests to borrow it now. loved this wig.
