A LONG REVIEWThis was my second speaker purchase from Portronics. (1st was sounddrum, it's still doing great)I'm an audiophile and love to try out better value for money products. And till now in speaker dept only Portronics has the capacity to fight against JBL keeping the price reasonable.Purpose of buying this: I wanted a good PC speaker but didn't want to invest a ton, whereas equally needed a good one for editing videos.Searched and bought many so called indian brands speaker but returned, they were trash.Fortunately saw a review at that time about Breeze Plus and bought it.HOW I USE IT:It's connected 24x7 with a low output Usb adapter, 3.5mm to 3.5mm jack to pc and remains ON all the time as a computer speaker. Till today it never disturbed.First CONS:#Battery output is not that good in 70% and above volume 2-3hrs max maybe. 50-60% volume will last u more than 5-6hrs (I guess u wont listen continuously 4hrs at above 70% volume, so it will more or less last a day. If u want to run it continuously a whole day, just plug it with low output Usb adapter. NO ISSUES AT ALLNO OTHER CONS COULD BE FOUND TILL NOWPROS:#Great sound output#Bass is not overpowered, but provides adequate thump.(Don't compare it with JBL BASS, but to me Portronics gives between balance and V shaped audio signature and just the right amount of thump u need)#More Clarity than JBL Flip 3 in 100% volume#Mids and highs are perfect (taste varies from person to person. I am used to high quality earphones which are mostly balanced in audio output)#Best Value for money speaker#Only speaker other than JBL whose passive radiators do work what they meant to do.FINAL VERDICT:#I use it both as a bluetooth speaker for small gatherings and travelling and 24x7 as a computer speaker. It hasn't let me down.#More Battery juice could have make it an Underdog Champion, though it's already the best sounded speaker u can buy in this price.Far Better than heavily advertised rebranded products sold as Indian Brand

I used this product for 3 days now and so far looks pretty impressive. I was skeptical when I ordered and have been proved wrong. I chose this model over Boat 1200 and the Tribit stormbox having also explored JBL Charge3 and Flip models. There were few discouraging reviews about the Breeze Plus but I decided to take a chance based on the other good reviews.Here are a few suggestions to derive maximum benefits from this speaker:1) try placing this speaker in a corner of the room and at some height (use some furniture) to avoid the floor reflections. This enhances the overall output of this speaker (enhances the bass and cuts out the high frequencies). Align in a manner that the sound gets reflected off the wall corner with the control panel facing outwards.2) if the room corner is not accessible, try placing it on top of a wooden table top (study desk etc.) and always keep it facing the nearest wall3) Use a graphic equalizer app or a bass boost app if needed to touch up a little more on the bass. Overall the output is balanced but some folks like more bass. Spotify has an in-built graphic equalizer that gave very good results. There are many other apps available.4) play good quality mp3 (most important). Instead of increasing the volume, place the speaker close to your seating location and try listening at 50 to 60% volume max. After all it is a portable speaker :)I have taken calls (both voice and data) using the mic. Works good. I didn't find any reviews commenting on the hands free calling feature, so wanted to add this.This is a good buy. The build and finish of the product is good. The grey color is neutral. It is of the right weight and dimensions to make it portable and produce a well balanced sound. The highs and mids are clear. The mids could have been a bit more refined. The bass is "just" good for the speaker of this size.I hope the battery and the overall product will sustain their performance over time.

It's been one week my Bluetooth speaker is not functioning and before that It's battery used to drain very fast. I had ordered it on 4 May 2024 and it's still in warranty but there is no service center in Goa. I tried calling customer care but there is not response, they have automated the call saying "you'll get a link to raise complaint " but no link recieved yet. I regret buying this product. The product didn't even complete it's standard warranty. @Portronics I'm looking for your response too....

The media could not be loaded. After reading these comments i got a second thought if I should buy or not but 2000 for a bluetooth speaker is never bad as im a music lover i need noise all the time so if one goes off other one is standby and i will call this one a perfect standby..Don't expect the punchy bass as they advertise because the speakers have bass but for the thump you need loud sound and this little beast tries very hard to deliver but gets distorted in the end which i expected after looking at it.The battery has an issue? Yes it has very bad backup that's why this is just a standby speaker once your main speaker is for charging or been playing for long and need some break then pick this beast up and run around no issues it will satisfy you with its smooth bass and loud vocals but a bit of distortion.My main speaker I goto is Bose and nothing can beat it... Had to mention it as its been 15yrs and that beast still thumps bass like a new gadget event this breeze....I just got it like half and hour ago so only this much for now.I shall write if i find any issues in future.Adios.
