Good, lightweight bag with a few design oddities
i'm in the market for a small waist pack with a water bottle holder for cross-country skiing: something to stuff my knit hat and fleece neck gaiter into when I've warmed up, where I can stash a few snacks and keep my keys and cards. This pack has the space I need but a few odd design details set it back in the running. They may make sense to others, though. The biggest drawback for me is the "lid." The compartment's zipper isn't along the top but across the width just down from the top, creating a flap like a lid. No doubt this is good for directing rain away from the zipper, but I found the lid awkward for accessing items in the compartment. Somehow it was always in the way. There's just one bottle holder, and if you're wearing the pack in the back, it will be on your left. Most other single-bottle packs situate the bottle on the back right. Also, the waist belt fastener is affixed to the left hip pad. You cannot move it elsewhere (e.g., to your stomach).I tested the bottle holder with a 10x3" 22-oz capacity reusable bottle, a 22-oz disposable bottle, and a 12-oz capacity thermos. The bottle safety cord is exceedingly long. If you're not carrying a bottle, the holder snaps down. The compartment's interior is lined with a bright lime-green fabric, making it easy to find things. Inside are a couple of flat pockets against the back. One of the flat pockets is zippered; the other is open except for a weak velcro tab in the center. If anything goes into the open pocket, the velcro will not hold. Outside of the open pocket is a strip of elastic sewn at intervals to make four bands for organizing stuff, like snacks. There is a key clip attached to the wall of the bag opposite the open pocket.- Zippered compartment: 8.5x7x3" (thick knit cap + fleece neck gaiter + mid-weight gloves + sunglasses + Pixel 4a cell phone + knit headband + trail map)Interior flat zippered pocket: 8.5x7"Interior flat open pocket with velcro tab in the middle: 8.5x4" (cards & keys)4 elastic bands: 2" wide (energy bars & gel)Advertised capacity: ~2.5L. Measured capacity: 2.9L. Weight: 5.75 oz

Light and holds up to a muddy beating
I’ve had this out on a few rides and it holds up real well, water bottle holds in fine. Just did a super muddy ride with it and it got wrecked with that gritty mud, and it was still dry and clean inside. Zipper still works after that which is awesome. Threw in the washer and hung to dry and it cleaned up really nice.

Happy
"Fanny pak" ouch! ... was my initial thought when I have seen these hip packs. But my goal was to have a ready to go pack with gear for my shorter rides in the trails. I've used this 2 times and I really do enjoy it. It holds everything I need as very comforable... super convenient to grab..as far as sturdiness the jury's still out but it seems to be very solid. I can't see it really being a problem. Holds water bottle well. Has compartments. I like it

A comfortable waist bag.
It's has loads of room and separate compartments to organize your things.

The water bottle will fall out as the webbing is sewn in the wrong spot.
It is comfortable but if you have a pop top MTB bottle that fits in a standard bottle cage it will fall out of the pocket designed to hold it. The pack is a great size and it is comfortable to wear.

Size, quality and usefulness are great.
I needed a fanny pack which I could wear while walking my two big dogs. I needed my phone, water, poop bags and a few other things. This is a perfect size. I like that is does have a few compartments to separate my items. It feels like a good quality pack.

Great
Fits everything I need for a ride, tools extra tube, snacks. Bottle holder can be a little messy when the ride starts shaking.
