OK I guess
I've just installed a hip roof with over 600 tiles and its not as easy as people claim. I think I has some older tiles mixed in with my batch, as some had moulded lugs under the screw holes which had to be removed before installation, otherwise they stood off the tile battens by about 6mm. Also you have to be very precise with your batten layout, and even then, you get small inconsistencies in tile spacing, which will appear for a few tiles here and there. Also, installing at about 6C, some of the locking lugs under the tiles snapped off during installation. The end result looks very good, but it took a lot of work. I'd probably use them again on a simpler roof shape.
