great read for a teen girl who is going through family trauma

Amazing, enlightening, funny, sad, incredible, joyful, little bit scary, loving, etc. So many ways to describe this book. It's one of the most life-affirming books I've ever read. It has mysticism, magic, miracles. It is not about the power of positive thinking in the sense that one plasters fake positive thoughts atop negative ones. It's about you having the power to choose your thoughts, choose where you put your focus--on the positive thoughts and feeling running through your mind or on the negative ones. It's not a sugar-sweet Pollyana book either. And the animal characters are delightful.You have the choice to be happy. You choose. You have the power within. JUST BUY THIS BOOK!

I accidentally stumbled upon this book search for something else and I’m so glad I did! It’s a wonderful story with a great message. It’s also beautifully illustrated. An enjoyable and heartwarming read!

I loved this book...written with so much truth and wisdom. It helps to be a cat lover (as I am) and to be able to suspend disbelief and enjoy the mystery of how animals - especially beloved felines- may experience life (in a fantasy world) ...and how that experience is reflected (in reality) in human beings. The illustrations in this book are so beautiful. Overall...this was a feel good book and I recommend it to others!
