Fantastic pie

OMG, What a GREAT taste!!!
The media could not be loaded. Let me just say that i've been craving Pecan pie for a few months now. My girlfriend has had to endure my constant ramble to have this decadent dessert BUT there's no place near us that sells the really good stuff. So I did a search and came across The Great SanSaba River Pecan Pie In A Jar... And with leap of faith. I pulled the trigger and ordered this product with a slight prayer that the taste would really match the reviews about it.Well me and my girlfriend just had a breakfast slice with our coffee and we're both pleasantly pleased by the flavor. I followed the instructions and used butter and eggs. I've had various pecan pie in the past that had an overwhelming sweet taste. This has such a well balanced flavor that makes you want to go for another slice, immediately.I have only praise for the product and now know where to get my craving appeased.

UNBELIEVEABLE!
This is a must have for any pecan pie lovers. I mixed the jar mixture with 3 eggs, some butter and 1/2lb of crushed pecans (in my opinion the jar mixture doesn't have enough pecans, so adding more is a must) adding extra pecans made the pie heavy, decadent and just phenomenal. Because I added extra pecans you didn't get that overly gelatinous filling like you typically do in a pecan pie. I used a frozen, deep dish pie crust and baked at the recommended temp for 1 hour and 25 minutes. The pie went in minutes with everyone raving about it. Highly recommend and I will make again, I already have backup jars! Tip: soak the jar in warm water prior to using, it's impossible to get out of the jar.

Makes a tasty pie
Directions say makes 1 deep 9” pie crust or 2 regular pie crust. We used 2 regular size pie crust. Both pies after cooking were only 1/2 full. We should have used 1 regular pie crust for the jar. These were gluten free crust and only come in the regular size. They were good though.

Best Ever
My husband always said nobody’s dy could make a Peacan pie better than my mother…….until I made him one with this jar of perfection! He was speechless that it was so good!
