Kipper's A to Z: An Alphabet Adventure
V**T
A Lovely, Fun, and Educational Book
I bought this book for my three-year-old daughter. She loves the show Kipper so I figured she would like this book. I find Kipper to be such of a sweet and innocent show that isn't loud and annoying like many other children's cartoons. I hoped the book would be nice too and I wasn't disappointed. This book covers the adventures of Kipper the dog and Arnold the pig. They seek out a critter for each letter of the alphabet, starting when Arnold finds an ant and puts it in his box. The story in itself is quite entertaining with bits of humor here and there. It is also educational because it teaches letters (and shows both uppercase and lowercase) as well as letter sounds. It doesn't merely show a critter that matches the letter (such as Aa is for ant) but it adds more words into the sentences that match the letter sounds (such as "six squishy slugs"). This book was quick to capture my daughter's attention and she had me read it to her twice in a row (non-stop), which is something she never does anymore. She tried to get me to read it to her a third time, but I told her we should read another book instead. Most alphabet books seem too short, but this one is the perfect length. The illustrations are very cute and closely resemble the show, including the use of limited illustration and lots of white space, which is something I have always loved about the show. I would probably recommend this book for children ages two to six. It's one of those books that I can read more than once without feeling dread at being asked to do so. Plus, it's a fun way to teach your child while bonding at the same time.

A to Zebra
Never can go wrong with Kipper! We love this book. Super easy for your young readers to catch on to, plus the Zebra is beyond adorable. My 2 year old grandson was reading it to me in his words which are super close to the stories in just under one week. Super cute story. Simple illustrations. Which is awesome, so many time artist clutter up early reader pages and make them overwhelming for their little young brains. Kipper is nice and easy on the eyes and mind making it super easy for your little ones to make connections. Great job illustrators. Love Kipper.

My 4 yr old son who is on the spectrum and loves Kipper LOVES this book and carried it around and now I will likely order a new one since it got a bit worn from him carrying it all over. It is a fun read and I like to do voices when I read it to him. I have caught him reading it alone and saying the words like he was really reading it! and he doesn't speak very much yet he learned and said new words from this book! The way it is written to incorporate the sounds of each letter is clever.

Finally an A to Z book that's not boring - it's a sweet story
Unlike some A to Z books, this one is not a bore - there's a sweet story here. The characters are enjoying a playdate and they gradually go through the alphabet. My 2-year-old loves it. Our whole family enjoys the Kipper animated series - these are simple, intelligent stories wonderful for toddlers.

Our little one is not yet two but loves this book. The drawing style is clear with lots of white space but each page is full of little clever details. Also nice that each letter of the alphabet includes the uppercase and lowercase.

Great illustrations with lots of soft colors for younger children. It's crisp and clean so that you can easily teach children the different words.

Worth it!
My daughter loves this book. The actual book is big and the pictures are great and very oriented towards learning the alphabet. My daughter gets bored very easily but this book keeps her attention.

bought these books for my granddaughter who lives in the USA and loves the Kipper dvd's. She loved all of them and they have rapidly become her favourite bedtime reading. She loves the illustrations and has great delight in showing them to me when we skype - yes we have reading time when skyping. I can see them being favourites for some time to come

My son loves this book, and we have read it over and over again. Great way for my non verbal little boy to learn. He knows every word.

A must for Kipper fans
This book is a great introduction to the alphabet for little ones. Unlike many A to Z books that just run through the alphabet, this one has a bit of a story too as Kipper and Arnold work their way from A to Z. Great illustrations and lots of fun!

Good book which has little extras, other than the letters on each page, so helps to keep little ones interested.Lots of humour and the lovely illustrations make it a winner.

I bought Kipper's A to Z book for my grandson, he's just turned 5 and has little word tests at school every week. Some times he stumbles over a letter but I'm certain this will help him, he likes Kipper books and I bought him more for his birthday. Long may Kipper continue his antics! Thank you.
