Best online purchase I've ever made
The media could not be loaded. well, ignore the temporary setup, lolWell, let me first clarify. I'm a heavy music lover. I'm emotionally attached to it. You can say I am an audiophile. i love varieties of different music as well as to my mother, so my requirement was to buy a soundbar in my upgraded budget of 30k from 20k. that has crystal clear audio has an immersive theater like experience for TV, enough bass to not feel any lacking(As I don't like boom boom bass, it is not meant for music, man. It's just wrong. Imagine listening to classic Hindi Lata mangeshkar Ji song with boom boom bass. How will it feel?)and loud enough for a decently sized house party or get-together. as well as Bhajan, Classicals, Pujas for my Mom.room size is approximately 100sqft, so obviously, i can not buy a 5.1 channel soundbar as I wouldn't be able to get the most out of it (enjoy) as it needs 250-300 sqft room so I had to ditch the plan and look for a 2.1 soundbar instead (Zebronics 9750pro 5.1 was my plan).looking and looking, i found Yamaha Yas 209 from Vineet Malhotra's video . It has some clearest, crispy balanced audio you could find in that particular price range and even over that.I tried to find some alternative of it like zebronics 9200 ws JBL 2.1 deep bass Samsung b550, but each of them have their cons likeJBL needs to have a hard floor for its subwoofer to workSamsung b550 lacks some things, plus Yamaha already has everything. This soundbar has some even better than thatzebronics 9200 ws was so loud, but it has Dolby Atmosso I dropped JBL and Samsungzebronics, my Neighbours, bhaiya owns zebronics 9200 ws i went their listened to it it was very loud but decently clear and Dolby Atmos kind of enhanced the music just a little bit but still couldn't match up withYamaha yas 209 clear sound it is a clear winner even without Dolby Atmos. and I wanted the best audio in my budget, so I went out looking for it in a retail store to try out Yamaha Yas 209 physically but couldn't find anyi dont buy expensive stuff over online stores as I don't have a credit card and I haven't bought anything online ever and also I'll have to do Cash on delivery I was afraid of what if the product was faulty or wrong missing parts or product wasn't good Etc..i talked to my bhaiya and customer care they gave me courage that everything will be alright and the product will be fine So at the end I had to order it online and hope for the best....it arrived on the 7th of August. I gave all the cash the amazon packaging was kinda broken apart, which got me a concern, but the product box was fine, as well as the producti unboxed it, switched on, and started to set up it. Yamaha soundbar app setup, it was quite hard, imo It took me a while. but eventually, it was done..and the moment you have been waiting for the sound quality.... 🙌Boy, i was concerned about it not being very loud as mentioned and sound qualityI'm extremely happy to say it met all of my requirements. Even neighbors were asking about the sound as it was quite good as loud as I wanted it to be.it doesn't lack any bass it has an extension to bump it up even more. You'll love itThe Crystal Clear Crisp Balanced Sound Quality is Absolutely Exquisite Magnificent and out of this world, I just loved itIt's just the way i wanted ❤️🧡 my mom really loved it. The classic songs were amazing. My bhaiya in the neighborhood loved it even while he was in his house, and I was in mine he could hear me playing it :)YOU WILL HAVE TO KEEP THE VOLUME ABOVE 65%, and then as you increase, the volume gets pretty loud. The best part, even at 100% volume, was that it was very loud, but still no compression and distortion. I just loved it 🤩🥰Pros: clearest unmatchable audio, loud enough for parties as i've tried in my birthday gathering, crispy balanced audio, very good balanced audio and bass, 3 surround was quite good.Cons : Hard to connect & and set up with its app, and it lacks dolby atmos for a bit more enhanced experience it You will not notice the difference, though. that's it :)you can go for this soundbar. It's absolutely amazing. as it is made by Yamaha, which is a company that manufactures musical instruments, so their soundbar will be good👍Thank You Yamaha for this amazing product...AndThank You Amazon for making my first online purchase good and easyHope this clears all the doubt and was helpful for you all hit the like button if you do :) 👍

One of the best purchases I made through Amazon!
Bought it at amazon sale for 27kReview After 1 week of purchase :1. Sound is perfect for living room up to 300 - 350 sq ft.2. Looks amazing, I had checked out other soundbars online as well as in stores, this one just catches the eye.3. Features - excellent! Alexa works like a charm, it will not only play any song suggested to your mood , but will update you with news or weather or any information you like .4. Clarity - the song will sound to you exactly as it should be. Has clear sound feature which if turned on will increase clarity of movie dialogues or songs.5. Bass - I didn’t expect it comes with this much punch ! Trust me it will blow your mind. There are features such as bass extension/amplifier, which will suffice any requirement.6. Surround sound - sounds a little artificial , but it sounds better with movies or during parties , will fill your room .7. Yamaha soundbar app - best feature which is a standout for any soundbar in this price range. You will be able to control your soundbar with just your phone!8. Connectivity - works with just wifi (through alexa), bluetooth works great. Hdmi in and out port available. You can plug your fire stick into the soundbar and connect your normal tv with hdmi . Works great!I didn’t find any negatives to highlight till now, but the bar is 3 feet in length, so buy considering the space required.100 % recommended to anyone!

Very good soundbar for TV and movies
So i had it narrowed to Yamaha 209 vs Polk Command bar - both similar price ranges and features. Eventually went for Yamaha for a different sound signature as i already have Polk DB6502 in my car and more reliable service network.Look is clean and classic and looks nice. Does not look plastic at all.I am writing this after 3 weeks of heavy use to allow burn-in. Here is what i notice:TV/Movies - The soundbar is great for Movies and TV viewing in my opinion. It is loud enough for a typical apt or living room. Post burn-in, i noticed the bass and 3D surround (DTS Virtual X) have become stronger. I rarely need to use the "Extend Bass" on the remote. The default subwoofer bass creates enough rumbling. The Virtual X does add some height and width to the sound, but its far from a 5.1 - so if the expectation is realistic - a 2.1 system with ability to provide an elevated sound experience, this unit wont disappoint. I have never enjoyed TV at home this much before.Music is good too, but the sound separation across mids and lows isnt very clear. At higher volumes (above 50%) the sound segregation gets better, but then it gets too loud. Soundstage is decent and improved post burn-in. If you are a music lover with taste and appreciation for IEM equivalent music quality...this is may not be a good bet - try active monitor speakers instead (e.g. Thonet and Vader)Alexa - The near field mic is decent, many times it doesn't pick my voice unless i speak louder (even when tv/music is off). Also, when Alexa is unable to process a task, it just does nothing and no response (e.g. sorry i didn't understand, or i am unable to do this - it just stays mum). So i dont get to know unless i check the logs on Alexa app. Having Alexa is a good to have...but only limited things it can do.Setup and use - Very easy pairing and quick to start. Needed to download the Yamaha app only. btw, the app can be used to to manage all settings/controls available on the remote. Although not the most user friendly app, it does the job.Service - havent had the need (and fingers crossed) - but this was a big purchase decision. I researched and found that Profx does not honor warranty for most online sellers for Polk audio (expect Appirio and a couple more). That wasn't the case with Yamaha, and eventually tilted my decision towards Yamaha.I am quite happy with the purchase as 90% of my usage is tv/movies and for that the YAS 209 does a great job. For music i usually prefer my IEMs for better soundstage and range segregation, so this worked out good. Finally - a note for the seller - i received 2-3 emails from AV sellers post purchase detailing the contact details and process for service/warranty registration etc, should there be a need to. Good job!
