Didn't seem very stable
I bought this to assist with an extended soldering project I was involved in (soldering lots of LED light strips). I had two problems.Firstly, the crocodile clips are a bit ferocious. They would dig into the (admittedly small - 22AWG) cable, and the LED strip. I was able to alleviate that by putting a few small pieces of heat-shrink over the teeth and shrinking it tight. This gave better protection, although still not perfect.Secondly, and more worryingly, when I used the soldering iron holder on this unit, the thing had a tendency to just tip over. Had real trouble keeping it stable.That said, the light and magnifying lense were good; although I have a more specialised unit, this one did the job.

Complete Rubbish
The media could not be loaded. There is insufficient weight in the base to stop the whole thing tipping over when a soldering iron is inserted. It wouldn't even support a tiny 25W iron. Totally unfit for purpose.

Handy extra hands
Handy extra hands, holds small PCBs or components sturdy when soldering.The built in LED light illuminates the working area wellPersonally I'd like the magnifying glass to be a little higher although it can be angled to suit.

Lightweight thin plastic.
This is probably some good for some people, but you will have to search for them.It's made of cheap plastic, much too lightweight even with batteries installed, it's top heavy. One small slip with a soldering iron and you would melt straight through it.Not worth it. Save your money.

Not a good product
Both alligator clips broke while using for the 1st time this was caused by the pins holding the clips together coming out.Unfortunately I had thrown the box away or I would have returned for a refund.Would not recommend.
