These compact notebooks are so nice to have when you spend a lot of time outside! I got them for a trek that my son and I did with his Scouts BSA Troop last month. He was working on his Backpacking Merit Badge, which requires the Scouts to journal each day of their trip. This little notebook was perfect because it is lightweight and compact, so it did not add much weight or take up a lot of space in his pack. I like having waterproof paper for plant, but, and animal ID. They would also be useful in a wilderness emergency if we need to send a couple of runners with a note to get help, where cell signal is not available.

I work construction and use these on a daily basis. My notepad went through the wash and still had the writing on it. Fit perfect in my back pocket of my jeans. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

i write my sermon notes on these and broadcast by a lake near my house. It was easy to brush off any sand and wasnt flimsy.Unlike plain paper notepads that I have used, these dont warp overtime in the heat and humidity, i love that

Everybody thought I was nuts buying waterproof paper (and a SpacePen)UNTIL I told them I had a shopping list I put in my drink holder cup in the car...the sweating cold drink was no match for the paper.

The grid printing is quite dark, even when using black pen. One of the books had smearing on the last half on all the pages. The other 2 books had a splotch that was consistent on every page through out. Wouldn't buy again due to the quality.

These notebooks are exactly what I wanted!!!

Just as effective as "Rite in the Rain" products but much cheaper.
