Eye Patch for Kids to Treat Amblyopia/ Lazy Eye- Daisies by Amblyo-Patch Ltd

We have 2 of these (this purple one and the pink one with the kitten). She picked both of them which is a huge win when trying to convince a young child to wear an eye patch! They are the best eye patch so far. It's so important to block views on every angle which this patch does a good job doing. After time the fabric pills some but it's still worth the design that covers all angles. It works best on glasses with a nose piece. Our 4 year old has 2 pairs of glasses with the same prescription and usually keep this eye patch on the pair that are a painted metal frame with a standard nose piece (she wears it 2 hrs/day). The plastic frames with the smooth nose area still works but you need to cut the nose piece hole larger and the eye patch will sit on the skin more (our daughter says it feels different when we use it with those glasses but she says it's still fine). She has never had skin irritation from it.

This is made of felt. My daughter broke it before the first use. Felt is glued together and came apart at the glue line. Easily fixed, however, quite overpriced for quality.

This did not fit right on my 5 year olds glasses. She also did not like the feeling of felt. That had nothing to do with this product. She is textile sensitive. Anyone considering this product for their child who may be textile sensitive will want to take that into consideration. we spent a lot of time fiddling around with this patch. It made it hard for my daughters glasses to remain where they needed too. The patch was too big and made her glasses push forward. When she would adust for comfort she would end up not having the patch in the right spot. This might work on bigger glasses, but not smaller pairs.

I was under the impression that there would be several, like the picture.

I bought this for my daughter. So far it has worked really well. I used a no lense glasses. My only wish is that the inside part near the nose has more fabric as im noticing she's able to see through her nose. I have to readjust it often.

Was just what we needed. My daughter first started with adhesive patches and had a reaction to them. We then looked for a eye patch but they were all to large to fit under her glasses. This fits nicely onto her glasses and we have heard no complaints which has made patching more tolerable for all.

my grandaughter didnt like the pirate patch and the adhesive ones bothered her and she gave a big problem wearing them for the few hours she had to. WIth this patch she doesnt give a problem and it works really well.

Works well. Nice. Sturdy. Good quality.
