Not a 4" bottom drain
It's 110mm - not 4 inches. Just be wary as a result, this will need an adapter if you want to connect to 4-inch piping.Also, I couldn't find a decent way of connecting the air tubing. Other bottom drains have a separate inlet, this is sealed shut. Maybe it's better for liner-ponds, I don't know.The quality is very good otherwise and it looks pretty indeed.I purchased two, but unfortunately, they'll end up on eBay as I need mine for a concrete foundation.

Really good for a small pond
Well as expected this is on the bottom of my little goldfish pond as I didn't want the look of pipes and the pump in the actual pond and at this price was a reasonable way to go if your starting a new pond would be a pain to retro fit otherwise
