The best dry kibble ever n the USA. I have fed their original formula, know as Hundeflocken (lamb in the protein source) for over 30 years. I noticed my older dachshund putting on weight, no doubt because of less activity. He only gets a level 1/4 cup twice a day. I am slowing weaning him over to this formula because it is lower in calories.

My dog loves this food. I was a bit concerned transitioning his food but he enjoys this product everyday. His gut is in a great spot by his nice and healthy poops. It’s a great value in comparison with some of the other brands. I would recommend pairing it with a solid gold topper as well.

The dog food is fine, I've fed my dog this for years. However, Amazon's packaging was HORRIBLE! The edges and flaps were barely taped together, the box was falling apart. Luckily the food bag stayed intact and no food was lost. Do better Amazon, do better!!

My girls are hitting middle age and getting a little pudgy. I would like to keep them happy and healthy, so I have been on a search for a product that is lower in calories, has good ingredients, is not chicken based, and is tasty to the girls. Most low calorie dog foods are chicken based which causes the ‘itchies’ for one of my girls. This food has some chicken fat, but it doesn’t seem to be enough to trigger the itch. So, it’s still a dry food, and there isn’t an ‘OMG this is the best thing ever reaction”, but they do like it. They get a few pieces of air dried food on top to get them interested, but they eat all of the food. It seems to be working because they are starting to have a little more waist definition.

In full transparency I do mix this food with another solid gold formula for my 2 little dogs.I also foster dogs and for any of the dogs that eat kibble they all also like the food mix.Since foster dogs often have stomach issues, this is great to make a nice calm transition to eating kibble from street food.My dogs are very happy with the taste and quality of this dogfood, and their stomachs are happy too.It smells fine and does not make me revolt.The price is fine.

We changed our dog food to this brand rather abruptly as Timmy loved it so much. The kibble size is smaller than the previous brand which suits my little dog well. He continues to eat much better with this dog food. I find this brand creates a lot less mess than his previous food as it is not as crumbly. Glad I made the switch.
