Simple, Sharp, Solid
These are well made useful little non-locking knives for pocket or purse, which are charming and practical. Knives like these have a surprisingly long history. The brass handles started out as an inexpensive way to provide a sturdy rust proof handle prior to the invention of stainless steel. In the early 20th century, many cutlery firms imported stamped brass handled knives like these, often used for promotional purposes. This postmodern version is a cut above most, on one side there is a rendition of two vaqueros retrieving a "Herd Quitter" probably inspired by the early 20th century artwork of CM Russell. On the opposite side is a cowboy tipping his hat, much in the style of a Rex Bell movie poster from the 1920s-30s. It is nice in this day and age to carry a little bit of art.

Nice knife
Very nice but super stiff. It came RAZOR sharp. I also got one as a Christmas gift for my friend and he loved it.Built tough and high value. Fit and finish are nice.

Another Great Knife from Rough Ryder
Very sharp stainless blade and highly-detailed REAL brass handle scales. Well-made and an unbeatable value. Buy two and give one as a gift.

Very difficult to open.
For the price point, what should you expect to be reasonably satisfied? I purchased this as a gift for my dad, who by the way, loves cowboy stuff. I really love the overall aesthetics of the knife, but it is incredibly difficult to open the blade. I have many knives myself, and none of them are even remotely close to this difficult to open. The blade is also a bit off center, but I'm not too concerned with that due to the cost, but opening the knife is a real issue and one that may be an issue for my 80-year-old dad.

Happy granny!
But this and the Roy Rodgers knife for my granny. She was so happy. They feel well put together for Chinese knives at that price. Recommended!

Love this knife!
The walk and talk, the good snap! ohhh this thing is awesome! This is perfection aside from the blade steel. I put a razor edge on it anyway using my edge pro. I find myself opening and closing this one more often than some of my GEC's! Which cost 10 times more! lol

A Good Pocket Knife
Nice pocket knife. It's neither too big nor too small. It has some heft . This knife is a slip joint with a half stop when opening or closing. I'm liking the brass handles. Mine came reasonably sharp. At this , I'll give it 4+ stars.
