Far better than plasticy printed wrapping paper, and better for the environment. Rustic, traditional feel, especially when combined with twine and a simple label. Huge roll and extremely good value. It's not flimsy and thin - much more durable than paper.

Great looking paper, we use it all the time for wrapping parcels before sending them. It’s pretty strong and hasn’t ripped at all. Great easy to use paper for wrapping.

First time I bought this and at first I was dissapointed as I thought it had a shiny side but it does not I am happy with it tape sticks to it ,it's strong. And I would definitely buy again well worth the money . You do need muscles to lift this roll up as its very heavy

Pros:- Good value for money- Recyclable alternative to wasteful wrapping paper, it goes in the bin anyway so why would you want to spend so much?- Large, thick roll will last for ages- Pretty easy to work with if you’re good at wrapping giftsCons:- Duller than average boxes/box tape so hard to camouflage unless you use double sided or clear tape- Small bit of tape used at the end of the roll when you open it up; I would recommend scoring and tearing it rather than trying to peel it off- Thickness can sometimes give you unsightly bumps if you’re not carefulOverall, I’m happy with the purchase but if you’re specifically looking for “nice” brown paper then you might need to look into spending a bit more/doing a bit more research. I’m reluctant to return this so it’ll do for now, it’s not the worst either!

Good quality paper, no issues

I use brown paper a lot and I’d run out. I didn’t really want to go into town and I’d been unimpressed with the last lot I’d bought from my local store. So based on the good reviews I decided to order this. I’m super pleased I did. It comes on a big roll that’s 50 metres long. It’s also a good width at 750 mm. The paper is really good quality. Nice and thick and doesn’t easily tear. It’s much heavier than wrapping paper and I would say it’s similar to the thickness of paper you would use in your printer if you buy the good stuff. Now I use brown paper for a multitude of things and this will be suitable for them all. Great for wrapping presents, for posting parcels or art work. I like to design my own wrapping paper by painting onto brown paper. This is perfect as it doesn’t have that glossy finish. The acrylic paint doesn’t soak through and you get a great finish. I used it to send a parcel for Xmas through the post and the recipient confirmed it arrived intact and undamaged. The sellotape stuck to it really well and I was able to write the address directly onto the paper. Without the glossy finish it didn’t smudge. Being such a big roll it’s going to last me ages. I can’t see any faults within the roll but obviously I haven’t unwrapped it all. It came well packaged and protected. This is an excellent way to buy brown paper and I’m impressed with both the quality and the price. I’d definitely recommend this.

Product is good however it was poorly packaged and arrived with one end bashed, doesn’t look the best in the holder however if it had been packaged properly then it would be a great product
