It does its job, more or less. If your desk is on the thinner side (it claims to fit desks as thin as 1") then you may need to create some DIY spacers to get a snug fit. My desk is 1" thick exactly and without spacers it moved easily. But some of the packing material that came with it was easily wedged in for a temporary solution. It's a bit thick, but for my purposes works fine. I have a small L shaped desk so finding a corner sleeve that didn't overwhelm the space was tricky.

Unfortunately this item is not as "adjustable" as I would have liked. It did not fit my desk and I sent it back. Haven't gotten a refund yet but I assume it's coming.
