Native American Navajo Flute Package -Cherry Eagle

Very happy with my purchase of this flute. I am giving it a five because there is greater value here than I expected at this price point. The sound of the flute is quite good, but not quite concert quality. I will probably add some beeswax to the bottom of the totem to achieve a better seal with the flute and see if that helps the sound of the upper notes. The instructional book accompanying the flute was well designed and helpful for starting out. The decorative bag is sturdy material that is pleasantly soft to the touch. The bag could benefit from adding a carrying strap or at least an anchor point for a strap. The Totem is beautifully carved and the stain application makes for a display worthy piece of art. I did notice a flaw in the wood in my flute that was filled in with resin. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase.

I have several Native American flutes, and this one plays as well and sounds as sweet, yet as plaintive, as any of my F# or G# flutes. This flute is beautifully made, and the "bird" is beautifully carved and finished. The intonation is perfect, and the overall impression is, "This is the best $75 I've ever spent." You cannot get a nicer flute, actually made by a native craftsman, for such a low price. But beyond any consideration of price, this is a soulful flute, presented in a soft and spacious flute bag. You cannot go wrong with this. The enclosed flute history pamphlet with fingering diagrams is perfect for beginners. Jonah Thompson makes great flutes!

I love the look and sound of this flute. The bag it came with unraveled at the bottom and the flute fell out the first time I put it in the bag. Luckily the flute wasn’t damaged when it fell onto the carpeted floor. I easily sewed the bottom of the fabric/bag. No buyer regrets! I enjoy playing this flute.

I wanted to learn how to play this beautiful instrument, but my fingers can't cover the holes.Any rubber pieces to fit in hole to make it smaller?

The packaging was excellent, The box was the appropriate size, not to big not to small. The shipping was fast it arrived sooner than expected. The flute was wrapped in bubble wrap several times so as it would not be damaged. There was also the foam packing peanuts in the box for added protection. The flute itself is well made and is exactly as the description stated. I would recommend this seller to anyone and the flute to anyone looking for an affordable flute that has a good sound. I will be purchasing another flute in the future.
