Great notebook cover.Fits the 3x5 Spiral Top Rite in the Rain notepads perfectly.Made for Rite in the Rain by Tactical Tailor, a brand known for its durability.My only issue is the pen holders on the outside are more narrow than the middle two.The edge binding is stitched in such a way that about 1/3 of the overall width is sewn shut.It will fit a standard #2 pencil or small barreled pen easily.I was able to squeeze in a couple fine point Sharpie pens, but they stick out a lot from the top.Still, this is a well made product and I'll be buying a couple more to toss into glove boxes.

This is what it is. If you need or want it, than it is worth it. It protects your notes, looks cool, and holds a pen and pencil or two. It just adds too much bulk for most people though. Waterproof note-books protect themselves mostly, so I do not use this as much as it cost. But if you are in the extreme places required by your job or hobby etc, then you may, in fact, need it. In this case the sacrifice in space, is warranted. For my edc man-purse though, it's just too much bulk. To be clear that was my mistake, not the products'. It protects well, just don't buy to be cool, like I did, the novelty wears off.

Smooth zipper, size is perfect and could hold 2 books easily. Feels nicer than the molle version

The canvas material is waterproof, but if the zipper gets wet, then it gets the edges of your notepad paper wet inside the pouch. Would be a 5 star rating if not for the zipper water issue. As long as this product isn't submersed or in a pocket that gets completely soaked, it should provide adequate protection in damp conditions.

I got this to carry a notebook and pen in my cycling jersey. I really wanted another brand but they were backordered, and this looks to be the original of this type, so I thought it would be a good choice.It is good - keeps out moisture at least as well as I need. Fits a Pilot G2 Mini in the pocket, which I hate to admit is probably the best choice for me for this application. That pen is not the world's greatest, but it's better than nothing, which seems to be the alternative, and I do have an idea of how to hack down a legit rollerball refill to fit in the G2 Mini.I may attach a short tether to the zipper handle. Either I haven't used it enough to build up "muscle memory" or I need that tether. Sometimes I have to divert my attention to the task of opening the zipper, which I don't want. Also I need to lubricate the zipper.Other than that everything seems like it has a lot of feedback and expertise informing the design and construction. The only thing left for me to discover is longevity. I would be disappointed if it lasted any less than 20 years.

I ordered this to fit a top bound 3x5" notebook, but it's far to small to fit it. I'm giving it 5 stars for function, because I love these covers from Rite in the Rain and they have survived years of nightly use in field work. But this one is smaller in both dimensions than the 3x5 notebook I bought it for. Because it's Rite in the Rain and I know it will last for years, I won't return it. I'll just buy a smaller notepad.

I purchased this back in June 2017, so I've gotten almost 4 years of service so far out of this notepad cover. I'm a career security officer and purchased this to keep my notepads from getting torn up in my pocket from constant use and to also keep some writing utencils on me. The cover has done it's job and performed flawlessly. The little pocket on the inside works great for storing the front cover and used pages so I don't have to keep flipping through pages to find a blank one, I just slide it into the pocket and the cover opens up to a blank page ready for use. I plan on purchasing more of these for other duty bags I will be assembling in the future.

I use this every day to write in a memo pad. It is the only reason I’m able to finish memo pads instead of throwing them away halfway full because it was falling apart

Se ve muy simpática, todos verán que alguien saca su block de notas de una bolsa y pasará momentos graciosos, fuera de ello la bolsa se ve resistente, las costuras no necesariamente son rectas con acabados y cortes bien hechos pero cumple la función de guardar ese pequeño cuaderno que tanto hace falta en campo abierto.

This simple but super piece of kit protects your 5x3 Rite-In-The-Rain waterproof notebook (or any other flip notebook of the same dimensions) from dust, dirt and physical damage; tearing, folding, ripping, etc. It also forms a handy storage place for your waterproof pen or pencil (4 pen sleeves on one of the covers).Additionally, the inner sleeves that attach the front and rear covers of the notebook to the zip cover can be used to selectively present a certain amount of pages from the notebook. Store pages before the ones of interest along with the front cover in the front sleeve pocket, and ones after along with the rear cover in the corresponding rear sleeve pocket. You now have quick access to only the pages you need, saving a lot of flipping through.Not sure if the case itself is waterproof (doubtful) or even water-resistant (it could be proofed with NikWax or similar), but if you’re using a RTIR waterproofed notebook inside it becomes largely irrelevant.I use my 5x3 notebook for route planning, timings, points of interest, etc, so the extra protection this cover gives - especially when pulling it in & out of rucksack and jacket pockets on a regular basis - makes it well worth having.
