MUST-HAVE for students or educators
Details: 114 boxes by 74 boxes; boxes are 1/2'' or 7 mm ruling. I use chisel tip Crayola whiteboard markers (which I prefer over Expo) and they are fine. I've been using for about a month now with no issues with ghosting or not erasing properly; the product is very well made.Honestly, this is the best deal on amazon for someone looking for a removable whiteboard. The other ones from other brands (that are "temporarily" adhesive have reviews that say that it damages cheap paint. I just used 8 pairs of Command velcro strips (which I've used for ages) and I don't have to worry about it falling down or ruining my paint when I actually do move in a few years. Plus if one strip doesn't hold up after so long, I can always replace that strip. The plus side of this is that my walls do have a minimal texture, and the strips still work, whereas some reviews on other products said that the adhesive doesn't stick.I agree that you should *carefully* take it out of the tube and let it lie face down overnight in a safe space to let it unfurl before hanging it up. I didn't do this with the second one (the one without writing on it) and so it has some slight wrinkles in it, but they don't really bother me.Links to the markers I use: https://amzn.to/2MtDQplBest deal for command velcro strips: https://amzn.to/35OmStB

Works Well. Would recommend it.
The dry erase board in my classroom got really ugly over the years so I decided to buy this stuff to cover it up. I bought 2, one for each side. I like it very much. The grid is a lot more visible than the description says it is but its doesn't bother me or my students. I wish that the adhesive worked better and that the poster itself was a little stiffer so that it can lay flatter. All in all, it works. Erases well, too. I use the odorless Expo markers on it. All of my colleagues ask where I bought it and I always send them the link.

Worth the cash
Truly a useful dry-erase sheet. The faint blue grid makes writing and drawing so much easier than plain white. I let the rolled up laminated sheet flatten out over 24 hours to take the curl out of it. Then I used ¼" mounting tape around the perimeter on the wall. Patience pays off when mounting. Great product and worth the money. One MASSIVE tip: order it directly from PlanetSafe. They properly pack in a rigid cardboard tube so it doesn't get crushed. Amazon fulfillment packs the rolled dry erase sheet without concern about how it arrives at your door.

Works as a make-shift whiteboard but won't stay completely flat
I used this as a make-shift whiteboard for teaching. Overall, it worked, and I am satisfied with my purchase. However, there is one caveat. Since it is a poster and not a board, it will not be completely flat on the wall. I attached it with thumb tacks and perhaps it works better if you attach it with poster strips. But I suspect that, no matter how you attach it, there will always be slight irregularities. This is not a problem in terms of writing on it. However, depending on what light source you have available, there will be glare on the poster, since it has a glossy finish and won't lay completely flat on the wall. This can make it difficult to see the writing where the light is reflected.Other than that, however, it's a great product. It works super well with dry-erase markers, and no residue from the markers stays on the poster when you erase it with a dry erase eraser. It is also quite big, almost like a real whiteboard. So you have plenty of space to draw, write, draw diagrams, etc.I also like that it has a grid on it. The grid is so subtle that you can't even really see it from a couple of feet away. But if you stand write by the board and write on it, you can use the grid to make sure you are writing in a straight line. The poster is very light, which is also a plus for me.

Do NOT purchase this item
I'm very disappointed! I purchase this thinking it was a dry erase board. When it arrived it was a thin sheet of what appeared to be dry erase paper that I had to tack on my wall. I wasn't not to happy but attempted to make the best of it. I used dry erase markers on it but when I went to erase it would not come off! O I am very upset! And to top it off there's no refund so I'm stuck with this worthless pieces non dry erasable paper.

Reusable and Versatile
This is a close-to-ideal dry erase medium that is easily mobile. One side has a grid-like background, making for more legible, organized writing. Will tolerate more tape-ups and take-downs than other, thinner mediums. Dry erase markers really do erase easily from this poster. That's not the case with some others. Black dry-erase markers work best. This can also double as a screen for a projector, enhancing its versatility.

Grid lines are a godsend!
I hunted and hunted for the perfect calendar for my home office and finally decided to make my own! I used 1/8” Whiteboard Tape Lines to transform this this whiteboard poster into a customized calendar! It is perfect!! Exactly what I wanted, and without the grid lines, I'm sure the end result would have been laughable. The lines helped me make a relatively straight calendar layout. It certainly suits my needs. I actually have two of these boards—the other is for notes/reminders, etc.

Great even for everyday in the classroom!
This item is the board on the left. I actually ordered two and this item is so much better than the other one. Really sorry I ordered the other one. The grinding is great for writing and for math class. I have other boards in my class but this is great for next to the smart board!Update...still holding up 3 years later!
