Better than electric!
I have had multiple electric self-clean litter boxes and they all die a death after months or years. This litter box is amazingly easy to clean, just roll over and it collects in the scoop. Roll it back and the cleaned litter is where it belongs. This one could last forever!

It's alright
Litter still gets everywhere and urine clumps get stuck to the side. Sometimes I still need a scooper.

Cool idea but cumbersome
I was hesitantly hopeful for this affordable sept scooping litter box. I have 2 cats, one of whom will absolutely destroy the box every time she uses it.Assembly was easy. Does it trap odors? Yes. However, I found the process of rolling the box over/tilting to get the scoop full to be cumbersome. And refilling the box without removing the lid is not easy! I bought the medium box and fortunately was using litter from a small 8lb box but quickly discovered pouring the litter into the opening without spilling on the floor required tilting the box all the back & then forward before setting back on the floor. Then the litter wasn't level inside & I tried to used the scoop that came with it but it was too longer to access the litter...I had thrown our other litter scoop away so I basically ended up shaking the box to level out the litter. Also, I like to add Arm & Hammer's double duty deodarizer after said girl kitty drops a load... but even shaking that inside the opening of the box proved cumbersome. In short, love the concept but removing/adding litter ended up being way more work (and mess) than I had anticipated so I've just ordered the Nature's Miracle Advanced Hooded Corner litter box. Maybe someday I'll be able to afford the $170 automatic litter boxes but until then I'll settle for manual scooping.

Small but my cat likes it
I was worried it would be too dark inside but my cat uses the small one more than the large Omega Paw I got a few months ago for another part of the house (yes, I have a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 2 litterbox house). The cleaning process takes up about 5 linear feet of floor space, to roll it sideways, then back up, then past upright (to get all the remaining litter to fall back where it belongs). Removing the top with all its locking sliders, to dump old litter and pour in a fresh bag of litter, is a hassle. It's impossible to do it with the top on. It's very heavy to roll with regular clumping litter, but the lighter crystal litter leaves the pee behind, and smells sooner. Haven't tried the 50% lighter Arm&Hammer clumping litter yet, hope that will solve both problems. Also, the cat LOVES to pitch litter outside of it. A carpet/mat stops some but not all of the litter escape. Haven't found any mats with a lip that can fold to pour the litter back in without taking off the top, but that's what's really needed, I think. Still...rolling is a MUCH less unpleasant experience than scooping.

Clips not secure enough, I still scoop litter with this box.
Perhaps I was already spoiled by the Litter-Robot, which is a fully automatic litter box, but we needed a backup in case two cats need facilities at the same time, (or more likely, one cat guarding the box so the other can't) and they do use both! This one is a manual litter box with hood, and has a built-in sieve with drawer on the right side of its opening. You are supposed to roll it over to sieve, roll back and then remove the 'treasures' from the drawer. I found that in practice, the clips were fussy, a pain to secure and to un-clip, and if not totally clipped, I'd get litter leakage when I roll the box onto its side for the sift function. Sounded like a simple enough idea, but the seal needs to be really good for the concept to work well.

This was a nightmare, it ended up being clogged ...
This was a nightmare, it ended up being clogged, and then when I tried to just take the drawer out and use as a normal litter box (because I spent so much money on it) it turned into a big mess.

Not the one I ordered..... but it is an Omega Paw
* Note; I just recieved my newest Omega Paw.... and it was not the one I ordered.... Can't return it, so it will have to do.. So I am disappointed about that. Also, Ordered on June 16,2019 and it is now June 26, 2019. Now setting all that aside here is my review about the Omega Paw Self-Cleaning litter Box: I have 2 and orderd a third one. Just to make it easy on my cat. He is older. The thing to remember is you need to use clumping litter. And only need to put a few inches in bottom. Roll slow.. all the way to the top. Then back down till you see the litter come back. This product does work well. There is new and improved ones. But I wanted them all to be the same. And don't forget to dump the waste. Clean the entire box at least once a month.A clean litter box is a happy cat.

I only wish that the inside plastic grate did not break so easily and that the seals would hold a little better
This is my second Omega Paw. I only wish that the inside plastic grate did not break so easily and that the seals would hold a little better. I do love the whole concept of the roll and junk ends up in a drawer. It is really a great idea!
