Full Size Electric Piano with Good Sound and Feel and Many Features
The Donner DEP-10 88 Key Electric Piano is a great sounding electric piano with lots of features. I would highlight three things overall: the piano sound, the keyboard feel, the potential volume.First, the primary function of this instrument, the sound setting for Acoustic Piano, faithfully emulates a piano sound. There are many more sounds, but more on those later.Second, the feel of the keys is indistinguishable from a real acoustic piano. I was able to do a pretty thorough comparison test against my stand-up piano and was very impressed.Third, with two built in 25W speakers, the system has enough power to crank up the volume enough for practice at home and maybe a small gig. If that should ever not be enough, you can run an instrument cable to an external speaker system using the connectors in the back. If you ever want to play without disturbing others, there are two headphone out connectors in front. The extra connector is convenient for supervised practice or two people playing the same keyboard. This piano also has a number of additional features that can usually be enabled with a two-key sequence:Pre-Selected Songs - The keyboard is able to play a variety of pre-selected songs.Tone – You can play the keyboard using other tones such as Electric Piano, Church Organ or Strings Ensemble among others.Rhythm – A selection of accompanying rhythms can be enabled and a tempo selected. One Finger Chords – The keyboard can be set up to enable playing of chords with one finger of the left hand.Among the other features are a USB output socket, MP3 player, an included single sustain pedal and sockets for a single pedal and a triple pedal. If you want to just play the piano you only need to turn it on and play. The keyboard has the authentic feel and sound of a piano. However it has a lot of additional features. If you want to delve into the features, the keyboard includes a thorough manual that provides the detail on how to use them.

This keyboard got my kids excited about playing piano again
The media could not be loaded. My kids take piano lessons and always complain about doing their daily piano practice but they were very excited to unbox this piano and set it up. They love all the functions and effects. They have loved playing it.Please note, it is large. It is a full-size keyboard. There is no bench or stand, but there is a sustain pedal. There are lots of functions and effects but minimal buttons. This means you have to read the instruction manual to learn how to use different combinations of buttons and the piano keys themselves to engage difference instrument voicings, beats, and effects. Maybe find your favorites and memorize the button combos or write down a cheat sheet of your preferences. One of our favorites is called something else but it sounds exactly like the tune from an Enya song called Book of Days.I would perhaps compare to this to the Yamaha P71, which is almost double the price right now. We own a full size Yamaha Clavinova digital piano that cost us $1250 a dozen years ago. This is keyboard is different. It is mobile and I can take it to wherever in the house the kids want to make music. I have also played on it and the semi-weighted keys are not quite as heavy as the keys on a real piano or a more expensive digital keyboard, but the sound is still great. This is not a professional keyboard, but for what it is I give it five stars because it got my kids excited about playing the piano again.

Simple to use, feels great. Great for the price.
The media could not be loaded. I'm surprised at how much I like this for the price. This is a lightweight, simple keyboard but with a lot of nice features.QUALITY & BUILD:This is a plastic moulded keyboard with a little bit of height to it. A rear panel allows output and input connections (MP3 player or other input or out to an amp or recording board) and USB. A front panel allows two headphones (a nice touch). It's light, but doesn't feel flimsy. The keys have a pretty nice feel to them as well.FEEL & PLAYABILITY:The keys have a bit of a weighted, springy feel to them that offers more feedback than most keyboards. The keys are full size and allow you to play quickly and confidently.SOUND:The core sounds are convincing, and having a sustain pedal included is very nice. The digital piano sound is full and classic and the electric piano/organ and other sounds are mature and usable. The rhythm sounds are nice and a fun addition as well.Overall, I don't think you could do better for your money.
