Great little camera
The wife and I have always used Kodak cameras. They last a long time and take pretty good pictures. This particular camera is a bit smaller than our last one, which is great. It is lighter too. We have taken many pictures with it and works great. I would definitely recommend this camera for anyone who needs an inexpensive camera that is easy to use and takes nice pictures.

Excellent!
This is the second digital camera I've ever owned. The first was a Kodak Easy Share. I owned that one from 2008 till 2015 when I bought this one. I made a really nice upgrade! My old camera was only 8 MP and this one is 16. It functions very easily and it's not hard to operate at all. I've taken many pictures with it and also recorded many videos. Both excellent quality. Looks like I'll be sticking with the Kodak brand for a long time. They don't disappoint.

Great value
Bought 3 for my medical office. These work great and take good photos. The viewing area is great. Many of the patients have already commented and want their own. Don't forget to order the card for it. The camera will only hold two pictures without. And the cable may need to be replaced as well. It is really short so if you want to sit your camera on the desk and your computer is under. it will not reach. But these are just recommendations and certainly not enough to lose a star over!

Camera Using Up My Batteries
I purchased two of these cameras in September 2015. I have been using only one of the cameras. Help, the camera has been using up my batteries since I purchased it. My husband suggested I take my batteries out of the camera while not in use. I installed two new batteries just this past week. Took about four photos and the batteries were exhausted again. I have tried batteries from two different name brand companies. I will be sending the camera back for repairs to the company. I love the clear photos that the camera takes, so I'm really "bummed out" about these batteries. I have been reviewing batteries on line. It seems that some vendors sell this camera with an AA NiMH 2900 mah with a charger. I'm sure you can tell I don't know anything about these batteries. If someone can comment and tell me what batteries I need to purchase I would appreciate it. I really don't want to have to send the camera back for repairs if it's a problem with the batteries and not the camera.

Daughters first camera
My 5 year old daughter has become interested in taking pictures with my phone and has shown some aptitude in framing a decent picture and we thought before we took a long vacation we would get her a camera. The camera has simple controls and she picked up how to use it very quickly. Of course she still has to learn some skills in using a real camera but this made it possible for her to take a decent picture and then she can review it on the screen to see if it was focused. She used it intermittently while we went to several different national parks and would ask for it when she saw something she wanted to record. It comes with a short wrist strap but she wanted to wear it around her neck, so we put a longer strap on it. The longer strap worked well until she would step close to a railing or wall etc... then it would swing out and hit whatever she was close to. She worried about damaging it so my wife carried it until she wanted to use it.The picture quality is not the best but for the price it did a very good job and the controls were very quick to learn, even for a 5 year old. It survived a trip and I hope that it keeps her interested in photography.

Great photos and video from Kodak camera
I bought this for my seven year old granddaughter as a move up camera. She has had a kids digital camera for four years and had been using my cell phone for pics. This Kodak FZ41 16MP camera is the perfect size for her to learn on. Not only does it take great photos, it takes very good videos. It's all point and shoot to get great pictures. She is in love! The menu buttons are easy to use and she has no problem understanding how the camera works. I highly recommend this camera for adults and children.

A camera for geeks
I was looking for something simple and easy to use. When I brought this camera, I read parts of the manual and realized then I had been duped. Why? Let me count the ways. The user manual has 82 pages to begin with. Doesn't it say this is a "friendly" camera. How friendly is a 82 page manual? This camera has up to 21 different icons that can show up on the LCD screen, each meaning something different. The camera has 5 modes. Each mode has its own set of icons for the screen. It's not difficult to accidently hit the mode button on the camera and find yourself with an essentially different camera with a new set of icons. The user manual details the auto mode only after the manual mode. Wouldn't you think that they would want to put the auto mode first for those who want to use it quickly? Does anyone actually read the whole manual? Most people, I assume, have a life. It looks like they threw into this camera all the options with the kitchen sink, not giving a lot of thought to ease of use. They really should have their own Steve Jobs to rationalize this camera. It's a camera for geeks. For the rest of us who have other things in our lives and want a truly "friendly" camera, this is not it.

PAINFULLY SLOW
The size is good and it takes AA batteries which I also like. This camera is SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW. I'm in real estate and I find myself pressing the button just to take a picture 3-6 times because it is finished processing or warming up or whatever. And this is while I'm walking from room to room so it's not like I'm expecting a burst of shots in a short period. Its just way too slow for me to even keep using. Since my return window closed, I will give it to my 5 year old. Kinda pissy about the amount of money wasted when I could have just spent a bit more and not had the hassle. I was replacing my old Cannon and this one just will not cut it. I also don't like that its not apparent that you have the option to delete all images with one or two button presses. I refuse to go through and delete 100+ pictures, ONE AT A TIME, every day. Again, ,y cannon had the option to delete one photo or all photos. If you are looking for slow, basic, easy, this would fit the bill.
