Great computer
Great computer for the amount of money spent. The only thing I would change is more space for gaming.

Price is excellent!
I looked to Amazon for a replacement for my old Dell laptop because their prices continue to be competitive. I was not disappointed, the price was great. This Dell Inspiron 15 laptop is much faster and has lots of memory. I am well pleased with the performance.

Great, with exceptions
Performance is typical for a laptop of this price range. It would be fine for moderate games if it had discrete graphics, instead of Intel HD. Windows does not come activated and will require the purchase of a key. I was able to transfer the license from my previous laptop without any problem.After receiving it, I increased the RAM to 16 GB and installed a second hard drive for additional storage. For the kid's homework, light gaming, and general online work it is perfect.

Great laptop
I bought this laptop to search the internet and it is fast on start up and also fast on loading the webpages. I don't use it for gaming so I dont know how it would work for that.

Computer is difficult to set up and there are no directions.
So far we have not been able to use the laptop. Once it finally turned on.....and we had to hit the button numerous times...we had a difficult time getting the internet on it. Then we could not go to any websites because it blocked them! I finally called DELL spending a lot of time on the phone to find out the system is in an S mode for protection. Which doesn't help if you can't get to the websites you need. Once he finally walked me through getting it out of S mode I once again had a problem with the internet opening. Then once the computer went to sleep trying to get it to turn on again is a nightmare! I am very disappointed that I have to call and sit on the phone again with DELL. I really think the computer is faulty but not sure what to do since I bought it from Amazon and not from a local retailer. This is the first purchase I have made from Amazon and it's not gong well.

I bought this laptop in April 2020. About 3 to 4 weeks ago Camera stopped working. In fact the computer did not detect the Camera (as device). I contacted Dell support service. After investigating the problem remotely by their team in India for about 3 days, they created a service request for my problem and asked me to ship it (they provided the shipment labels and box) to their Repair Tool Center. I shipped it 8 days ago. And I was tracking the status. Three days after they received the laptop I got the status report from them that--the service part needed is not in stock. I tried to contact them but no avail. I always reached their voice mail ---that says the voice mail is not set up. I don't know when I'm going to see the problem resolved. And meantime I'm without computer, and I'm so behind and I'm helpless. ....and it's very frustrating experience. I know Dell is a very reputable company and they always stand behind their product and service. But with this experience...I'm not happy with Dell.

this laptop is fast
I bought this dell to replace a dell I bought last year, that one was so slow. it did not have intel like this one but still this is the fastest laptop I personally have ever owned.
