These are the best colored pencils in this price range! They are brilliant colors and sharpen easily without breaking and that is hard to find with colored pencils. My budding artist loves these and they are the only ones I will buy for her. Thanks for a great product!

Great product these pencils are artist quality at a great price. In case your wondering should buy them now the answer is hell yes. Do like I did buy at least three packs I'm very with them. So please buy for your self or that artist you know. Very worth the monry

Great colored pencil for a good price
I've used colored pencils from the bargin bin up through some rated for professional artists. These are a good mid-range. Great colors. Sturdy. Would recommend.

wrong item was sent, i ordered Sargent pencils but received Alex watercolor paints!The 4 stars are for the pencils tho which i have ordered in the past ... they are nice & make a nice get well or retirement gift along with a coloring book.

3 colors short of a full box.
If I had written this review after my first order, I would have nothing but praise for the quality of these pencils. I ordered a second set for myself and was disappointed that a few of the pencil colors broke and crumbled. A couple of colors have simply snapped off below the sharpened wood shaft. this means sharpening and wasting) quite a lot of the pencil just to get back to a sharp point for coloring.If this package had been my first order, I would never have ordered another box of Sargent Art coloring pencils.The two or three that continue to crumble mean I don't get to use those colors.Not a big crisis, but I paid a premium price for 36 pencils and really only have 33. To add insult to injury - the price is going up significantly.

A surprisingly good quality product.
Nice earthy . The pencils hold up well and don't get a lot of breaking at the tips.

excellent price for these pencils
These pencils are easy to sharpen and are of excellent quality, considering their modest price. The pencils are a nice assortment of colors as well.

Good value
These were inexpensive and better quality than some more expensive pencils I have. They don't break when you sharpen them and the colours are pretty accurate.

Not as pigmented as I expected. Has an oil based crayon consistency. Had to really put pressure while coloring to intensify the color.

Terrible. I thought the pencils would be much more ...
Terrible. I thought the pencils would be much more vibrant than they actually are. The color of the lead is very different from the color of outside of the pencil. They are very hard, so it is hard to get a deeper color or shade darkly. The silver pencil in my pack had a some yellow running down the lead, so if I want to color silver it is streaked with yellow.
