Very easy to assemble and looks great! Nice quality!

First, I'm a woman and at the time of purchase I was in my second trimester of pregnancy. It is heavy, so it was a little challenging for me to put together, but I did it. I love the lamp. It's worth the price - well made and simple yet elegant. I'd advise some caution when placing the shade and screwing it in place. When I did mine it wasn't flat, so it's canted at a slight angle. I was a little dismayed at the time, since the work and pregnancy made me tired, but after getting it a bulb and looking at it felt the angle was fine. It throws light nicely into the room that way.

Really lovely lamp with a perfectly sized table for right next to my reading chair! Much more substantial than expected, and I love the shade too! Easy to assemble solo, box was very well packed and everything arrived safely. I'm so glad I decided to buy this, it looks great and I'm very happy with my purchase!

Normally I read reviews before I put out this much money. For some reason I didn’t and I wish that I had. It’s a nice lamp (except for the lack of 3 way switch) and I like the colors. However, it’s kind of crappily made. Where the table screws onto the base, I had to shim it because it was horribly out of level when screwed all the way down. And I made sure the threads were lined up multiple times. Also, maybe it would be more stable on bare floors, but on carpet it is fairly wobbly.Before the lamp arrived, I was thinking of giving it a couple of days to decide whether to return or keep, but the packaging is so ridiculous, repacking it would be rage-inducing. So I guess I’ll keep it. Not completely unhappy with it, but I wish it was better made.

The lamp proved to be just as advertised. Well constructed with a heavy base to prevent tipping, the wood table is pretty high quality with a good walnut finish, and the shade is also good quality. Arrived in two large boxes, well packed, and assembly was not difficult. Good value at $150.

Very sturdy. The wood stain has a LOT of orange- sort of passe. Metal is more mocha than dark brown. Colors are tricky to work with. Will stop and restain but for $300 wish it was ready to use…
