Slightly more elegant than the clicker version, but much less useful.
I love the Frixion pens, I have quite a few of the standard clicker versions. I got this because I'm looking for a more upscale version to use when in front of customers. This DOES NOT fill the bill. Two reasons why:1) The eraser is on the tip of the pen, not on the cap, so to erase, you must pull off the cap - bad design, poor user experience.2) The cap cracked soon after purchase, so the cap is not longer snugly fitting.I'm still in the hunt for an upscale version of my favorite pen.

the eraser really does work, no more tossing notes to friends, etc. I just love this pen.
I have been, for the first time in my life, at 85 yrs old, writing a daily diary jncluding all meals and medications for that day. It just pleases me so that I have no more cross outs, misspelled words, etc. I'just love this pen with an eraser that really does erase clean. Incredible!! My diary is now neat, and I don't cringe when refer back to a certain date...Love it. So many other considerations, like not having to toss a $5 greeting card when you notice your writing is going uphill...

Almost Perfect!
I gave these pens five stars because I love how they write with my Rocketbook Notebook. The only thing I don't like is that the eraser is on the pen instead of the cap. That means in order to erase, I have to take the cap off the end of the pen to get to the eraser. I don't use the erasers much, but it would be much easier if the eraser was on the cap itself.Other than that, I love them! I hope they make one with 1.0 thickness soon (if they do, I haven't found it).

Eraser on the cap would make it 5 stars
I love the ability to erase while writing with a pen. Unfortunately with this specific pen, the design is not very user friendly. I cannot imagine someone using this pen and not choosing to place the pen's cap on the bottom of the pen while writing so you don't lose the cap. But guess where the eraser is located? On that same end, which means each time you want to use the eraser while writing, you have to remove the cap that you're storing on the end of the pen! A much more logical placement for the eraser would have been on the top of the cap. Henceforth, not 4 stars in my rating.

Bought these for my RocketBook
I bought a RocketBook and then bought some extra Frizion erasable pens. I ended up not liking the Rocketbook at all, but love these pens. I went back to a traditional notebook, but bought the additional pens because they are so easy to use and very easily erase when I make mistakes. Glad I was introduced to them.

Writes Nice, Just Make Sure You're Perfect!
These pens are on the large size, feel nice in the hand and they write quite smoothly and nicely. Other reviewers complain about not enough ink? Not a problem I noticed. But there are two problems with these pens that are slightly annoying:1- When you take off the pen cap and put it on top of the pen you cover the eraser. So be prepared to try and erase with a pen cap (a great 'duh" moment) or lose a the pen cap at some point. This is a design flaw in my opinion - minor, but annoying, especially at first.2- And the biggie - this pen has moments where it erases OK and moments where it erases poorly and leaves a nasty black or gray smudge. Once you have had to erase a few times, the eraser becomes "dirty" and then when you use it to erase you end up with a gray smear on your paper. I use these pens for variety puzzle books, and its OK to smear up these books since they are just for fun, but if you are doing any kind of writing where you want it to look decent, don't use these pens. Erasermate, while they leave eraser dust, erase much cleaner.Or if you are PERFECT and never make mistakes - these pens are for you. But then why are you buying an erasable pen if you are perfect? ;)

An interesting pen, though only average as far as writing goes
The whole idea of erasing out pen ink is interesting. The pen uses a special kind of ink that undergoes a reversible reaction when subject to heat that causes the ink to loose color making it seem to be erased (but the ink and writing is still there). However, as the instructions on the pen pack indicate, this is reversible and if subject to a particular cooler temperature (or less) the ink will become visible again. It is quite fun to try this out; write a small note to a friend and "erase" it, give the note to him/her and tell him/her to chuck it in the freezer. :)Writing-wise, however, this pen is nothing special. Mine skips occasionally, and when at certain angles definitely (though it does seem to get better, as in fewer skips, as you keep writing). The ink color itself is not a standard color (probably due to the composition needed to make it "erasable" and the black (which this review is for) is more like gray. I cannot speak for the other colors as I did not try them out. It doesn't look awful though, just thought that people should know (personally when I started writing, I thought that it was getting "warmed up" before getting to its true color but that hasn't happened in the two years that I have been using these pens). The pens don't last for long though; the amount of ink/gel is much less than that of other pilot products or other manufacturers (interestingly though, this pen doesn't have a direct competitor in terms of the "erasability" from other manufacturers afaik).

These are AMAZING!!
I previously bought the Frixion erasable highlighters and I gave them 4 stars, my BF came over so we could work on a History exam together, she brought 2 of these pens for us to use... they are AMAZING!! I asked her where she got them, and she said.. Amazon! The pen works amazingly well, when I write with it, it doesn't lose ink when you make a straight line, it writes really smoothly, and the eraser works GREAT! Absolutely a must-have!!

Pretty solid, but careful around heat!
These don't 100% erase in my opinion. There is a *very* faint brown left over, but they're better than i thought they'd be. They are a really nice smooth pen to write with.UPDATE: I had my notebook sitting on a table above a heater and it seriously disappeared a page. I did a little text because I suspected that was what happened, and heat messes with this ink. In a short period of time, the ink will come back, but my text has been sitting above the heat source now and it's gone. I can still see the outlie (maybe I write hard?), but no one needs to have to rewrite things because the page was too close to a heat source!

Great pens *low amount of ink*
These pens write really smoothly. To erase, do it while still wet otherwise it won't erase. I bought the refills too!! UPDATE: 2 weeks in and both pens have run out of ink 😕 hoping the refills last longer otherwise I will have to find a less expensive solution

Shorter lasting, but worth it for the uses!
Favorite pens! Love using these for work and personal use. Having the ability to use a pen, and still erase mistakes, makes a world of difference. Not like using a pencil at all! Only downside is they are a bit expensive, and don’t last as long as a typical pen.

Ink drys too fast
These pens are amazing and I would love to keep using them but the ink dries up too soon after use. Too expensive to keep buying every few weeks. 😢. The first set I returned because the ink was dried almost immediately and I didn’t even get a chance to use it. Not worth the price, unfortunately.
