This is a great piece of kit. It’s two and a half years since I bought it and I’m still delighted with it. I use it in my off grid home to charge batteries and run power tools. It has never let me down. Although portable, there’s a fair bit of weight to it, so you won’t be just carrying it around. The remote control is superb. I turn it off and on from a distance of 15 metres through a wall with no problems. For its size and output, the noise level is very good. It lives in a shed 15 metres from the house. I don’t hear it running. Hyundai could design the oil cap location better. It’s tricky to get into and the funnel supplied is far from perfect. That said, I wouldn’t swap this generator.

The media could not be loaded. As a crew of Professional Drone Pilots and Operators, we are regularly employed to do 6-8 hour days in remote and isolated areas. But of course we still need all of the batteries we use, for our Drones, Controllers and Screens for a full day. To be able to have clean, quiet and on demand power for charging is almost a dream come true. But this fabulous Generator has given us all we need and more. It really is fantastic, we still can’t believe how easy it is to use, how quiet and unobtrusive it actually is. It’s that good, we are already thinking about getting another one, that’s just how good it really is. If you need portable power, that’s easy to use, clean and efficient, and quiet, then look no further, this is the generator you have been looking for!

I paid £960 for a generator with no oil.

I love the quietness of the gennie plus the remote control on off key fob,,,, plenty of power as domestic back up but tbh this is a powerful gennie just as well suited to commercial heavy use,,, plus I love the design and always keeping it clean with car detailing lroducts(I know)Happy poweringGuy

I'm sure I read this would come with the oil it needed, but this wasn't the case. No drama.Unlike a Generator I order from another Amazon supplier (sounds like max peeding rods) which is still in transit from Germany after 33 days (I think it's walking.. they did refund me) this one arrives on time as a scheduled delivery.My old generator is getting tired now, and although still working isn't one I would want to rely on, it's also rope start, when it choses to start.This unit was quickly set up, fired up and running a treat. Unlike my old open frame generator the sound from this is a bit like a touring motorbike on tickover. Rather subtle, and as generators go very inoffensive.I wanted an electric start so that my Dad can use it, a rope recoil would be too much for him, but the electric start is a doddle, turn on the power, turn on the fuel, and push the button.... OR.. use the included remote control. OMG.... awesome! No faffing with a choke either, it's all automatic. Just push the button 1 second and away she goes.So, order oil, and while you are at it order petrol stabliser. If you leave it months it will keep your petrol from going rank. This unit is one of those tools that makes you smile alot, especially if the lights go out this winter.

Great generator. Son uses for scout activities. Much quieter than my last one and lighter with a greater output. The handle and wheels make moving it easier. The lifting handles are great.

Don't buy thus product I used it twice and it stopped working when I contacted hyundai to ask them to fix it as it had a 2 year warranty all I got was distressing emails say to send it back and if they say it was my fault I will have to pay parts and labour in other words if I don't pay it I won't get it back how when only used twice and not my fault should I have to take their word for it and risk losing it I was using my karcher pressure washer at the time and that doesn't work now because of it please don't buy it hyundai are a joke
