Curcumin Full Spectrum - 60 Softgels 40 MG

MY husband has been using cucumin extract almost daily for a couple years, mostly for his knee and back, and it helps tremendously. I used it occasionally for body aches or a headache, but now I try to take it often just because it has so many other benefits. I just read the other day about a small study in England that studied curcumin extract alongside chemo for cancer therapy, and they tentatively suggested the curcumin not only enhanced the success of chemo, but was actually more effective than chemo, when used on its own. Probably because it doesn't have toxic side effects. Curcumin has some inhibitory effect on cancer cells. I think it is great multi-purpose supplement, so even though it is a little pricey, it is actually probably fairly cost effective because you get so much bang for your buck- not just pain relief.We were using Jarrow formula plus a biopeperine extract with it, and taking it with food since it is fat soluble. My husband could definitely tell a difference when he used it (or forgot). Only thing is he still felt like he needed to take 4-6 of those capsules, usually twice a day if not more.I thought since this is so much more bioavailable, it is actually cheaper in the long run, so I gave it a try. MY husband raves about it, and says it definitely lasts longer. Plus you only have to take one capsule, not 6! My husband is definitely open minded about natural stuff and a healthy diet, but he is also skeptical about dramatic effects, so I know he is telling the truth about how much this works. Also I don't have to remind him to take it, which usually I do, so I know it works a ton if it motivates him to remember taking it! Highly recommend, and I am stocking up at this price- half of what my local store charges.

This is The Kind. Highly activated by an encapsulation process. For me, this substitutes for NSAIDS for chronic aches and pains. It goes a long way to keep me comfortable with none of the risks of over-the-counter pain relievers. Give it a try. It's waaay more effective than ordinary turmeric or curcumin.Adding another comment today after an internal GI surgery for which oxycodone was prescribed as the post-op pain reliever, 10mg x up to 8 per day, PRN. I am taking this wonderful curcumin product rather than the oxy because the opioid constipates (bad news with this recovery) and leads quickly to addiction. I do not need either of those problems. With Solgar Curcumin, 1 tab, 4x per day, I have very tolerable pain. I can take it to zero easily with a small dose of RSO, a whole plant extract of cannabis, which is cheap and totally legal over the counter in WA. NSAID drugs and opiates, goodbye forever. I order this curcumin monthly now. However, I still have to have concern for bleeding because as I understand it, any pain reliever that controls inflammation (like curcumin and NSAIDS) may also promote bleeding. I am beyond that risk at this point.

After trying other curcumin products with lackluster results, I spent the money and switched to the Solgar Curcumin which is water soluble making it more readily absorbed by the body. After approximately a week I noticed an significant improvement in my knee osteoarthritis pain which is usually quite severe (bone-on-bone). I have tried many other herbal products for arthritis pain, including various Chondroitin Sulfate and Glucosamine products, but did not notice any improvement. This is the only herbal product I currently take for osteoarthritis and am pleased with the product.

My husband is very fit and active but has joint point from a strenuous job. Sometimes he comes home in near tears and his whole body is throbbing. He was taking way too much motrin and obviously we were trying anything and everything to get away from that. We tried gelatins and osteo bi flex, krill and other joint supplements. None of which helped a whole lot. Some even made his discomfort worse. I made him try this and about 4 or 5 days in I noticed he was complaining less about his pain. He said he notices the difference immediately when he stops taking the curcumin. In conjunction with getting optimal D levels (crucial for many things) this has really helped him get some relief. I am trying to slowly incorporate this into my regimen. One side effect I have noticed personally is that it irritates my lower GI. I read that it can stimulate bile ducts/gallbladder and because I don't have a gallbladder and have an issue with excess bile I don't tolerate it great. For that reason, I try to take it with milk or yogurt and it balances out the irritative effects.

Curcumin is known for 2 things, it helps with aches and pains and Dementia more specifically Alzheimers. Though not proven becauseFDA does not do clinical trials. I have heard from others it helps them. Also my U of M physician encourages the use of Turmeric. Curcumin is the main ingredient in Turmeric.It takes a couple months to get into your system, I have taken it for the 3rd month now. My old age aches and pains have diminished dramatically. I recently heard that Black peppercorns aid digestion of the curcumin.So I am taking 2-3 peppercorns with it. I have a finicky stomach and it has not bother me. I chose Solgar because of the Gel caps that are easier to take and digestion. Solgar takes great care with their products no additives and you get the strength they advertise.

Hands down the best Curcumin on the market. Better prices than in a vitamin store. If you’re looking for something to help with inflammation, hangovers, bloating, improve vision, this is your answer. I’m not sure what makes this one better, I know it superior to turmeric alone, but theses something about the form of this brand of curcumin that means more is absorbed and used by your body. I’ve been in it about a year now and have zero swelling the day after eating soy sauce or too much wine, I also have no aches or pains. My friend turned me onto it after a serious eye injury and he was recommended it by his surgeon.
