Nice
Sleek and minimal, but the pockets are suuuuuper thin and edges split at the top sometimes, but still like them!

Not a bad product, but an odd one
I bought the 80 pocket version. I loved the pretty colors this came in which is part of the reason I chose to buy this one. When I received it, the first thing I noticed was the unnecessarily large spine it had for only 80 sleeves/pockets. I measured it and it was a whopping 1.5 inches. This is probably not going to be easy to store either upright on a shelf (taking up too much space) or stacked flat with other books or folders. The reason for the large spine is the way it was constructed. It has 3 sections of sleeves attached to the spine. I thought this was strange because you can't divide 80 by 3 evenly. So I decided to manually count the sleeves. It turns out there's 90, not 80! Each section contains 30 sleeves. As I counted, I noticed the sleeves were made from very thin plastic. If you're going to put a sheet of paper in it and leave it, this might be okay. But if you're going to be inserting and removing papers, I think they might start to tear. So to summarize:PROS- beautiful color(s)- 90 instead of 80 pockets- lays flat when openedCONS- very thin plastic for pockets- weird construction- not easy to storeThis review is only for the 80 pocket version. From what I can tell from the pictures, the 20 and 40 pocket versions are not constructed the same.

Last time ordering! Too hard to open pages.
Seriously, I feel like since I first purchased one of these a couple of years ago, the quality has gotten cheaper and the pages have become harder to open to insert artwork. Also, the binding is wider than the first one I ordered, by more than half an inch. The price is better than lots of portfolio books, but the amount of time I spend trying to get pages open makes the cost skyrocket. Also, the crinkling of corners I have to do to get the layers of plastic to come apart makes a less-professional appearance.

The search is OVER!
I recommended this to my music students as a way to keep their repertoire sheets organized for easy access. The best thing about it is that is NO METAL anywhere on the binder, which makes it safe for placing on the music rack of my grand piano. The 80 page version actually contained 90 sheet protectors, for a total of 180 pages of storage. Yes, the binder is wide, but once it is filled with sheets the binder is the perfect size for the number of sheets inside. The cover is sturdy enough to stand up on a bookshelf. The sheet protectors are thin, but sturdy enough, and it's relatively easy to fit the pages inside. The texture on the page protectors reduces glare on the page and makes the contents easily readable. I have looked for a simple, clean way to store sheet music for years, and this binder finally did the trick!UPDATE 2022: They have changed the 60 and 80 page versions of this product and the now have an EVEN WIDER SPINE than before, a whopping 2.25 inches. I find that prohibitively large, and have had to resume my search for a new option for my students. Too bad, it was PERFECT the way it was! 😔

Good but pages are thin
The pages are much thinner than I realized they would be. If you only need 1-2 papers in a sleeve it is fine. For myself I thought it would be thicker as I planned to put 5-6 sheets in each, having a page for each of my students to keep data in. Not bad, but also not what I thought it would be.
