Q: Does it have inside pickets

Yes, there is one on the inside of each breast, each large enough to fit a fat wallet, two packs of cigarettes each or an iphone and pack of cigarettes each.There's also a large cargo pocket on the back with a velcro flap, about one by one foot and can fit about four inches thick but two inches comfortably.On the front are two side pockets, above each side pocket is a zipper sealed cargo pocket.The left outside front breast has two velcro flap pockets while the right breast has one velcro flap and one zipper pocket.All said there are eleven pockets plus the shotgun shell loops on the front - it's my man purse. ;-)

Q: What is the interior material? Is it lightweight to wear indoors at a conference?

Material same on inside as out. You could, very out doors looking. Try Tru Spec Xstreme vest. Not as many pockets. Far better vest Better looking. Built to last.

Q: What is the length of the vest?

I bought a 2XL and measuring it while wearing it, the distance from the bottom of the vest to the top of my shoulder is 24 inches.
