It works!
This product was used for applying pain relief ointments to my body. It works well with rubbing the ointment into my lower back, great. It feels like a perfect fit. Although long, the upper back, for it, was still a bit of a stretch. This applicator also worked well with applying creams to my feet. It's length took away the difficulty of bending with an aching back. It's extremely sturdy and cleaning it was easy except for a cream that was strong in fragrance, the smell had to wear off but since it was used constantly, that wasn't a problem. Awesome for hard to reach places even if a stretch is involved. Great applicator.

Very helpful
Not as good as a helpers hand, but much better than your own 2 hands.

Product works as described
I had a little trouble handling the size of it at first. I felt it was a little unwieldy. I got used to it. I only use a small portion of it closer to the tip to target the spots on my back that I need to put lotion on.

FABULOUS! Reaches the whole back easily
I used to have one of those standard lotion applicators, with the foam oval on the end of a stick. I could never reach the small of my back without wild contortions, so I finally tossed it. THIS, though, reacheds my entire back down to the waist, just reaching over my shoulders. Why has no one ever come up with this before??? I am absolutely thrilled with it.

Didn't like it.
I already own a fabric strap back applicator for tanning products, but it doesn't hit the area where your spine isn't level with the rest of your back. I thought I'd give this handle applicator a try. I learned a few things. The flat surface is no better at getting to that spine area. It's actually more awkward to use than the strap. More importantly, since it's a non-absorbent surface, it left an uneven SMEARY MESS of tanner on my back! So a fabric applicator is NECESSARY to apply it evenly (I thought the fabric would absorb up some of the tanner and waste it). I had to use the strap to smooth out the mess. Also, that pristine white applicator surface gets stained with tanner and looks horrible from that day forward. I didn't return it because I feel that I've ruined it by using it, but I don't recommend anyone buy it. It seems like a good idea but in practice it's not.
